^kung di siya nakahulog ng 3 months prior to the month ng pagkakasakit niya (kunwari april siya na-confine tapos hindi siya bayad ng jan-march), eh di wala siyang makukuhang benefit from philhealth...

Thanks for posting that tabbru. Hirap din pala yung lifetime membership ng Philhealth, kailangan may SSS. I pay for Philhealth but not SSS. I guess I should pay for SSS if I want that lifetime membership...

hi... di naman po mahirap ang processing ng lifetime membership with philhealth. i am assuming that u are a voluntary m ember of philhealth... once u reach the age of 60 and [textspeak!] pong mga resibo niya ay nakatago at nakahulog po kayo ng 120 contribution ay automatic naman po basta ma verify lang po and PIN niyo ay mai-issuehan kaagad kayo ng ID. As for the SSS and GSIS naman po ay para sa mga employed sector. if i may suggest, u shud go to the nearest service office of philhealth with ur receipts and ask for a copy of ur contribution... compare it and if meron pong di nakalagay ay don ay sabihin niyo po kaagad sa isa sa mga frontliners para po ma-encode po iyon.

^Thanks arlissa, first post mo pa talaga. :)

I recently had to use my Philhealth and so far, all of my contributions are reflected. I've been a member for about 4 years now. So does that mean I can stop paying in 6 years and once I reach retirement age, I reach Philhealth lifetime member status?

hi... yup, and this is my 2nd post.  :) u can stop paying once u reach the age of 60 pero dapat meron kang 120 contributions para ma qualify ka as a non-paying member.

^jhalimcuando, from what I've read in this thread and other threads, basta may contribution ka of at least 9 monthly premiums within the last 12 months prior to using it (or in your case, prior to giving birth), makaka-avail ka nung benefits. :)

Check out this link and scroll down to "details of coverage" for more info about inclusions and exclusions: http://www.philhealth.gov.ph/members/individually_paying/nsd_benefits.htm

^go to the nearest Philhealth branch sis, tapos pa-change mo yung membership status mo to voluntary. you can also start continuing your contributions na. monthly, quarterly, semi-annually and annually ata yung terms. para less hassle, i pay annually kasi mababa lang naman contribution, 100 monthly.

question po re: PAG-IBIG. nakita ko yung mga luma kong payslip and nakalagay dun na HDMF no. ko is 00000000000. eto ba yung sa Pag-ibig contribution? the company gave me certificate of my contributions while i was employed by them, pero bakit 00000000 yung number ko? credited kaya yun sa Pag-ibig account ko o sa account ng company?

^ Ok lang yun, sis. Sa Pag-IBIG kasi, ang basehan din sa records ay hindi Pag-IBIG number but birthdate and TIN of member. Ako nga hanggang ngayon walang Pag-IBIG number eh hehe.

^Para makasigurado ka sis, punta ka na rin sa Pag-IBIG office tapos check mo yung record ng contributions mo... bigay mo lang yung full name, birthdate at TIN mo... ganun lang din ginawa ko dati...  ;)

^ as long as you have a continuous contribution for 9 months, covered ka.  Since January this year, nagstart ka na magbayad, by December 12 months na yung contribution mo.

For those who are asking about the minimum contribution, it is 300/quarter.  Philhealth prefers quarterly contribution and if you miss even 1 month of contribution, and you got sick within the 9-month cover period nila, hindi mo na magagamit yung philhealth mo.  So pay your philhealth contributions, mas okay kung advance or mag annual payment kayo (1,200) para walang hassle.  Philhealth no longer accept delayed/retroactive payment.

I stopped paying SSS, Philhealth, Pag-ibig since I stopped working pero nasa payslip ko na binabawasan ako before. Can I continue paying for that? Tapos I saw that puwedeng mag contribute ang mga naturalized filipinos living abroad.
