has anyone tried argan oil? I saw SOUQ international selling it. Seems promising but kinda expensive for a 30ml size. I also saw Tamanu oil naman (the one endorsed by Dr OZ from Oprah) from ABSYNTHE bath and beauty that has the ability to promote the formation of new tissue. So i think this is good for scars.....hmmmmm...so tempting....

I bought my Argan oil @ Bare Naturals. May trial size na 10ml. 1 week ko pa lang nagagamit kaya wala pa akong nakikitang effect sa face/hair. :)

I tried using emu oil on the scar that I got from my appendectomy. The scar is a year old and nag keloid siya. Just after a month of applying emu oil nag flatten na yung scar, parang nag heal talaga sya. Emu oil promotes tissue regeneration daw kasi.

yung argan oil sis, parang nutty yung smell. For me, walang smell yung emu (depends upon the manufacturer), pero yung argan, may distinct smell sya. Mataas daw yung vitamin E content ng argan. Pero I think, mas madaming benefits yung emu kaysa argan. Then based on reviews, Argan is more likely used to condition the hair/skin. Yung emu kasi diba it prevents the occurrence of pimples, heals scars, good for insect bites, etc.

Bought sunflower oil at HO for PHp 269--almost a liter 946ml.  Expeller-pressed sya.  Actually, cooking oil sya.  Pero as they say, ok daw ang food grade for the skin "daw".  Will try this, haha, SUPER experiment. :P

Haven't tried BN :)  I've tried VnM, the one at regaloshop (very unnoticeable odor pero the seller's not active anymore), Passion Berries, and one at pamelarose.multiply.com.

Emu Gold ang brand, first Emu Oil I tried, akala ko pa nga dati there's something wrong with it kasi may faint smell (hindi mabaho, very faint smell compared to the others). Akala ko dapat super odorless talaga.

Ok sya for me, 99.98% emu oil lang sya (with 0.02% vitamin e added for freshness "daw") maybe that's why matagal bago maging rancid. Tapos ito yung nakalagay sa site "ULTRA-Activeâ„¢ Extra Strength is a patent-pending, proven process that enables the natural extraction of about 50% more of the anti-inflammatory properties than fully refined emu oil."

Hindi lang sya organic, unlike VnM.
