LEG MAKE-UP (Badly need help!)

Hi sisses!

I have a very big "problem" right now.
A few weeks from now I have to attend an important function where I have to wear a short skirt (above the knee.) But I never wear skirts!

Here's the reason. My legs are pretty bad. I have scars all over. The most visible one is a one peso coin-like scar on my calves due to the burn I got from self-waxing. The other scars I got are from scratching and shaving.

Here's the worst part. I also have silvery white, depressed STRETCHMARK scars on the back of my knees. Now I won't talk about how it injured my self-esteem in one way or another (shallow as it may sound) and move on to a more crucial point where I must find a temporary fix to this dilemma. (Yes, I'm planning to pay the derma a visit for long-term solutions of improving my legs' skin condition). However, that can't be done within 2-3 weeks time.

So, the next best option would be.. LEG MAKE-UP! Unfortunately, all i know of is the Sally Hansen leg airbrush, and I'm not sure if it would even work for the kinds of scars I mentioned above. I don't want to shell out money for something that wouldn't work. Any other products I should consider? readily available in the phils?

Can you guys also suggest a good concealer that would really camouflage scars? Here's the harder part.. is it possible for me to wear leg make-up and make it look like i'm not wearing leg make-up at all?

My legs are really pale. Maputi.

Mga sis, sally hansen airbrush worked for me. May mga different shades sila pero usually madaling ma out of stock yung lighter shades. Downside lang kasi if pawising ka, it easily wears off

^^hi leenai. i have fashion21. tried ko bumili nito before bec. it's cheaper lang compared to sallyhansen. only has 1 shade. unfortunately, it didn't cover my scars at all. tapos it would stain my clothes pa.. like kapag nag.skirt ako.. it leaves a stain on my skirt. =/

^roseydosey.. ok ba coverage ng sally hansen? are your legs pretty good to begin with kaya it worked for you? or do you have scars as well na na-cover ng sally hansen? di pala cya waterproof? hindi ba obvious if you're wearing it?

Matagal ko na ginagamit yung nichido leg make up. They have copper shade for fair skin and bonze for morena. Yung mom ko may mga peklat din & she doesn't wear skirts without wearing double stockings. Ni-test ko sa kania nung may date sila ni daddy. Nilagyan ko muna ng makapal na coverage yung mga peklat, nung natuyo na saka ko nilagyan yung buong legs. Remember na magpractice ng maigi dahil magaling ka dapat magspread para pantay.

Ok sana toh for me lalo na sa gimik, HG ko toh, kaso di siya masyado long wearing. Chaka kung may tatakpan ka, mahirap yata iachieve yung parang wala lang look sa kahit anong leg make kasi kahit sa face make cakey pag may tinatakpan di ba?

Sige keep on posting sisses! I need this too! Anyone who uses waterproof leg make up? As in pwede pang swimming?

try checking pcx. merong testers dun for leg make up e.. i forgot the brand nung natry ko e. pero if my memory serves me right, i think it's palmers? may different shades din. a bit expensive (like 1k ata?). pero you can try it out naman muna.

i have the same prob by the way. the only difference is hindi maputi yung legs ko. i plan to use this peeling kit on my legs when summer comes. goodluck sis

^ako din sis. i pan to have my legs peeled next month na siguro. i have to consult a derma first bec. i have never tried peeling before.  and if i do it by myself, naku.. baka mas lalong lumala pa.

leg make-up lang is a temporary fix habang hindi pa kagandahan ang legs. hehe. though i have hopes na itong scars ko mawawala pa, i  doubt my strecthmarks will fade though, kaya i really need something to cover them. ang hirap kasi naka-jeans all the time, especially when going to events na kailang mag-dress or going to the beach even.

sally hansen is ok. but they dont have a very light shade. kasi the lightest one is a bit darker than my skin tone. but i still use it. coz hindi naman ganon ka obvious. i guess kaya wala silang lighter shade coz baka hindi na macover yung gusto mo macover pag lighter shade. =)

nung reunion namin ang ginawa ko, i made my own leg make up. i mixed my bb cream and lotion, 2:1 for more coverage. natry ko na din liquid foundie noon, ok din ang effect, that time nga lang wala akong liquid foundie kaya i used bb cream.

sis may water resistant ang sally hansen di ba? kaso resistant lang, may alam ka ba na pwede kahit magswimming? ty!

^ sis wala ako alam na water resistant. yung sally hansen ok naman pag nabasa. just dont rub it off. kasi pag nireremove ko sha kelangan todo scrub at sabon ako para lang matanggal

meron yata sila water resistant kasi nag-spray ako dati ng tester sa arms ko tapos pinatuyo ko then pumunta ako sa banyo, tinest ko sa running water. natanggal parin kaya di ko siya binili nun. tagal ko na naghahap ng either water-proof na leg make up o pang-tanggal stretchies. haaay..

^ i just checked sally hansen sa landmark sa trino. 1k yung leg make up nila. sabe nila water resistant nga. pero kung matatanggal din easily when you wash it, nonsense.

kasi yata water resistant lang hindi water-proof, in short long wearing lang kahit pawisan but not made for swimming. sa running water ko kasi tinest kaya syempre parang na-rub ng tubig kaya nawala. ok siguro siya pampa kinis ng legs at pang even ng skin tone pero i don't think it cover up major imperfections like stretchies.

Naghahanap din ako ng foundation for the legs recently and so far and raved about product talaga is sally hansen airbrush legs.
If you're light-skinned get the 'light glow' one. Yung golden glow kasi and other shades is for tanned people na. Ni-reseach ko sha--sabi nung isang girl sa youtube nagswimming daw sha with the sally hansen foundie sa legs nya and it did not come off.


Kung may nagbebenta lang online ng sally hansen bibili ako eh kaso wala and sa province ako nakatira, walang watsons or SM

So ang binili ko nalang is yung Shills BB cream for the legs make-up recently sa multiply (yung may ari din ng store sa banawe that sells taiwanese and korean bb creams)

Very light yung shade nya kasi nga made for taiwanese skin so maputi sha. 500 lang (kaso maliit lang din sha haha 120 ml lang)

Not sure kung water proof since ive just tested it on my skin. Pero mukhang water proof naman kasi i ran some water over my leg hindi naman sha natanggal unless sabunin mo.



Spraying makeup fixer on your legs might help the foundation not to rub off clothes. i havent tried that out yet pero soon bibili ako ng makeup fixer.

yung saken hindi naman natatanggal.
yes, may natatanggal na konti when you run it with water. but but. hindi pa rin nawawala yung effect.
maybe dahil nilalagyan ko muna ng lotion yung legs ko. kaya kumakapit.
in fact, mejo mahirap nga sha tanggalin. like i said, kelangan ko pa i scrub.

and make sure pala you shaved/waxed your legs before applying =)

na-try ko na mag-shave at hindi, mas maganda pag nagshave pero di naman mayado halata difference pag hindi.

very helpful yung post mo... may fixer naman siguro na water-proof? ang napansin ko sa sally hansen long lasting yung makinis look niya pero kung may mga blemishes like scar & stretchies na kailangan takpan, masyado siya sheer.
