Singapore to Malaysia

You need at least 2 days 1 night in Malaysia if you want to see both the petronas tower and malacca. The journey from Singapore to Kuala Lumpur already takes almost half to three quarters of a day. Perhaps take a night coach there so that you save 1 night on hotel room and reach Kuala Lumpur early in the morning to start sightseeing. Then sleep 1 night at Kuala Lumpur, leave for malacca the next morning, start malacca tour around noon. Leave malacca after dinner to reach Singapore around midnight.

My friend and I are planning a trip to Singapore this coming March, around 5 days, and hopefully maisingit ang 1 day to Malaysia. Originally we want to go to Legoland sana and Hello Kitty theme parks, but upon checking the attractions, and since both of us naman are not that fond of theme park rides, we decided na wag na lang magpunta dun. Sayang naman yung ibabayad sa entrance then hindi naman namin mamamaximize. Upon checking all the posts, I think we'll enjoy more yung Batu Caves, Malacca tour and of course photo op sa Petronas. Kaya ba ng 1 day yun? Plan namin to take the bus, the one that will leave Sg na midnight, then yung latest bus trip din pabalik ng SG on the same day.

mga sis, we're going to SG on feb.11-14... wala pa kami itinerary for the third day. gusto sana namin to go to johor. can we do it na DIY? is it safe? anuano ba nakikita sa johor? may bilihan ba dun ng mga chocolates or white coffee packs? we don't plan to stay there, buy lang talaga, also just for the purpose na extra stamps sa passport, hehe!

^unless you're going to Legoland, hello kitty or premium outlets, there isn't much to see around JB.
Medyo hassle din to commute dun, haggle lagi sa cab drivers.

You'll be able to buy White coffee in sg, Nescafé or old town brands but it's probably cheaper in MY.
Most grocery stores like Cold Storage or Fair Price in SG will carry them.

USS/Sentosa
City Tour (MBS, gardens by the bay, merlion, fountain of wealth etc)
Zoo or Bird Park on the third day maybe?

Gusto ko lang i-share ito not sure if OT, experience namin riding WTS from SG to Legoland and pabalik nang SG... We spend almost half of our day sa immigration ng SG to think 4:30 ata yung sched namin pabalik ng SG ulit, so imagine half day nasa pila kami then Immig nang Malaysia tapos travel pa pa Legoland. so kamusta naman yun? pag dating namin nang Legoland I think 2pm na.
and we asked the tour guide ng WTS if we can extend our stay since grabe nga ang nangyari sabi nila its beyond their control daw and so on... so luhaan kami kaya to think water  park and main  theme park ang tickets namin at hindi pa kami nakakapag lunch non! kamusta naman yun? at alam niyo bang inubos ko ang time ko (with sis and mom) since 4:30 nga eh calling time na pabalik, kahahanap outside the park kung saan pwede sumakay going back to SG na mga 7pm na ang time! and nakita ko ulit ang tour guide namin, naawa ata siya samin she made arrangements with other bus para makasakay kami g 7:30 pa SG sabi niya secret lang daw namin. nako mga sis! I wanna kiss her super thankful lang talaga!!! kasi ginawan niya talaga nang way!

anywhos...SG to KL we rode StarMart I like the bus ang luwag and sarap magsleep, presko nang feeling. we used Online ticketing very nice website and convenient .

^Really sis? That long? Bakit, ano meron sa immigration at ganoon katagal? Masyado ba marami tao? Kami kasi we'll be coming from KL to SG, overnight sa SG then balik kinabukasan ng KL. Mignight train kami back and forth. Sana naman hindi ganoon katagal ang waiting time sa immig or else dapat pala maaga kami.

^Matagal talaga ang immigration ng MY / SG.  This is because there are a lot of malays working in Singapore and weekend is their time to go home.  So expect flood of people lining up the immigrations during weekends especially long holidays.

^ ok naman that time, di masyado matagal kasi wala ring holiday on both countries.

di nyo talaga masasabi yung dami ng tao sa immigration b/w MY and SG.  Tuas exit (yung malapit sa Legoland) kasi din usually ang ginagamit ng mga bus. so di lang yung papuntang Legoland/Hello Kitty town ang kalaban nyo. lahat nung tatawid ng SG/MY by bus.  pag weekend, public holiday minsan pa nga kahit the day before and after those two eh madaming tao lagi.  isa pang nakaka-awa dyan sa pila sa immig yung mga bata. kasi kailangan din nila pumila with parents. di naman pedeng dun muna sila sa tabi at tawagin na lang pag sila na ipo-process.

di ko pa na-try ang train. pero magkaiba yata immig process pag sa train. pagsakay pa lang yata sa Woodlands ipo-process na kayo. tapos sa JB, ibang lugar din.

nag-avail din ako ng coach transfers sa WTS, ok naman ang experience namin sa pila pagpunta namin Legoland. Nung pauwi ang mahaba, bus pa lang ang haba na ng pila pababa ng SG immigration, ihing-ihi na nga anak ko, buti nakaabot pa ng CR kasi tagal pa magstamp nung IO. Tapos gusto isa-isa pa ang lapit kahit family kayo, e nung papunta naman sabay-sabay na kami sa counter. Thursday trip naman kami, buti pala hindi weekend.

yes mga sis kaya tamang panahon lang nag pag cross siguro ng boarder kasi that time holidays like I think dec 26 ata iyon. so grabe pa talaga at take note ang daming hindi marunong pumila as in nakapila ka pero dirediretso parin sila paunahan. sige andon na tayo na baka malaysian sila or I dont know talaga...pero eto nakakahiya, Filipino 3 sila family dirediretso din...kasi pati puti inunahan nila. kahit harangan mo sila, uunahan ka padin. hindi ko alam bakit ganon.

sis, you can buy your ringgit or sgd at czarina.  I just bought mine today for our KL/SG trip next next week.  ok naman yung rates nila --RM1=14.02; SGD1=35.55.  Need mo lang to call them to reserve the amount and currency you want to buy.  For me, mas ok to buy the local currency dito palang sa pinas to save time looking for money changers pag dating dun... lugi din kasi pag sa airport magpapapalit!

Thanks sis mas mura pala sa czarina kaso malayo sa akin, nakabuy ako ng SG dollar at 35.70 sa trinoma near NBS don't know [textspeak!] name dun din  ako nagpapapalit ng Euro... siguro buy na din ako ringgit unti lang naman need kong ringgit kasi legoland n lang kami at naka purchase na ko ticket online, then if makakadaan ng Hello kitty daan din kami and Johor Premium Outlet.

Mga sis if mangagaling ba ako ng lavender may diretso na bang masasakyan ng bus going to Johor - legoland? Anong bus station kaya nearest? Sa pine Hostel(Tyrwhitt St.) kami mag sstay ni Hubby near lavender EW11 station. TIA

I was able to buy at Asian F/X in market market. Medyo mataas compared sa Czarina. 35.60 for SGD and 14.3 sa RM. No need to reserve.

sis may nakita ako sa busonline.com na may bus sila going to legoland na ang pick-up/drop-off is Lavender MRT station.  i was about to book that kasi initial plan namin sa V hotel lavender kami mag stay... but since nag change hotel na kami hindi ko na tinuloy. you can check their site sis.
