wow, hi all, siguro its high time for me to join this club. i have already raised the white flag and starting to accept na, no matter how much i wanted to build a family with the father of my soon to be born baby girl, its not just possible. masakit, pero siguro eto na ang tamang panahon. siguro naman, ang lahat ng nandito, hindi naman pinangarap na maging isang single parent, much more dumaan sa isang masakit at trying times. but im here now. at there is no looking back. hi again all, and i thank God for this group:)

Salamat mga sis! Here's a brief intro:

I'm 30 y/o, a mother to a very bright and lively little girl named Sophie. I am a single parent...but not by choice. I am supporting my daughter by myself...uhmmm...well...with the help of my mom. I'm hoping to find a better-paying job soon and for my business ventures to take off.

Thanks so much mga sis for the welcome! Looking forward to a meaningful exchange of thoughts in this thread!

^ wow, puros single mom by choice, ako siguro by chance, since the father chose to marry someone else. all these took place while im heavy with my daughter... soon to be mom pa lang ako, waiting for my little one to come out to the world. mixed feelings. pero dahil me nakadepende na buhay sa kin. wallowing in bitterness is not an option for me. pero right now, still hurt, bago pa lang kasi ang lahat, not wanting to fetch for awa naman, pero siempre minsan di maiiwasan. my concern now is my child being illegitimate, and of course the stigma of being a single mom. however, i know and i believe that God has a reason.

@thamei nagkaroon din ng babae asawa ko. like you, i stood up for my kids alone. i can imagine your pain. mahirap talaga to become strong for someone when all you wanted from the start is to fall on your knee para man lang irecognize yung tinatagong mong sakit deep within. $:-\$ but GOD provides, don't worry. He'll give everything from material needs to strength. just bear on...
