hello mga sis, i would like to ask if kailangan ko pa mag send ng termination notice to cancel my contract sa fitness first since I pay them naman by cash, and if kung di na ako makakabayad di na ako papapasukin, right? I would like to cancel my contract cause I am looking for a cheaper place to workout. Thanks sa magrereply.

^same case ko tayo. member ako ng ff before, I also pay in cash. but verify with them if pwede ba icancel agad, or they need few days notice or a month's notice etc. I wrote a termination notice din (pero informal lang, handwritten pa nga yun e haha). parang ganito: "This is to formally terminate my contract with FF XXXbranch. I'm also surrending my FF membership card." Tapos meron ako sinulat "FF membercship card received by" para i-sign yan ng ff employee. Then I made 2 copies, 1 for me and 1 for them. Siyempre I need back up copy just in case.

if you're terminating your contract with ff, better send them a 30 day notice. Otherwise you will still be billed continuously though you stop using their facilities.  Someone from their collection dept. will call your contact number.  Have it documented and let them received your termination letter.  Make sure that you have a copy of the termination letter, so they'll no longer bill you.  I'm using ff but my friend terminated her contract with them.  She gave the termination letter on the last month of her contract.  FF still bill her a full month after, saying she should have given them a 30 day notice.  To avoid ugly confrontation, my friend just paid another month.
