How long does it typically take you to finish a book?

sakin mga sis it depends since i have little kids na... when i was still single, i can finish a book in a day, just like when i first read harry potter's or twilight's... pero nowadays, i think it's taking me about a week already ( or only if i have time nalang kahit gustung-gusto ko yung story/novel ) since divided na yung time ko for my work, kids, household chores and hubby... :-)

3-5 hours usually kapag dirediretso up to a day but yun eh kung Jonathan Kellerman, Robin Cook, Ken Follett or Michael Crichton novels or any other books na nahook ako first chapter palang. other novels, from a day to months depende kung gaano kaboring. non-fiction, 1 to 2 days up to a week. twice as long kapag ebooks.

mahirap akong bumitaw sa libro kapa gusto ko story. there was once nakatapos ako 8 novels in 2 days with no sleep in between just bacause series yun binabasa ko

If I have a day to myself at walang ibang gagawin kundi magbasa..I can finish a book in 2-6hrs.  Depende sa number of pages, font used, at kung gusto ko talaga yung libro. 

But since I don't have that...I usually finish a book within 1-3 days coz I only get chances to read when I'm going to work in the morning and home in the evening, lunch breaks (as in I will finish lunch kaagad para may time pa magbasa haha!) and ofcourse before I sleep.

    a. No classes;
    b. Classes and no exams; or
    c. Classes with exams

3. Mood
4. Difficulty level which will depend back to Number 1.

So ayan haha Wala ako masagot na matino or exact na timeline kasi I realized, its not about how short a story is but kung malalim naman ang ginamit na words matatagalan din.

^Super Agree ako dun sa Language used. Kapag malalim ang language na ginamit minsan 30minutes pa lang tulog na ako hahaha! tapos minsan nman I have to re-read the paragraph or sentence twice just to be sure na tama yung pagkaintindi ko..

^Mas mahirap pa kung puro symbolism tapos malalim pa yung words. Ay goodluck, babalik at babalikan mo siya at baka may na-missed ka or what.

^Oh yeah haha!!! Mahirap nga yang book na yan pero ewan ko nagandahan kasi ako kaya I nominated it. Puro symbolism nga lang siya talaga.

usually 1-2 days pag maganda. pinapatagal ko talaga para masulit yung binayad ko. tsaka madami kase akong ginagawa din kaya di pwedeng isan upuan lang.

Hay weeks! Pero pag super into it ako, mga 2 weeks na at most. Walang time! Kahit gustohin ko matapos sya agad, eh nakakatulugan ko na lang...

To think na hindi ko talaga natapos ang Remains of the Day. Haay. A Touch Mortal, natapos ko ng 1 day lang, kanina. Nung binasa ko naman yung Jane Eyre, matagal ata ako inabot dahil yung language nga na ginamit.

Pride & Prejudice.. hindi ko alam gano ko siya katagal natapos.. may other novels kasi in between.. pag hindi ako stress saka ko siya kinocontinue basahin.. lol..

^Sis di ko nga matapos ang Pride and Prejudice kasi isa pa sa nag papatagal sa pagbabasa ko kapag napanood ko na yung movie.  Dun pa naman sa P&P almost the same talaga pati yung dialogues nila..kaya ayun nakapending pa rin yang book na yan sa tatapusin ko.  But I love how it was written, ang ganda ganda niya kahit malalalim medyo yung words.

apparently, if i'm reading my favorite author, i can finish a book in one sitting! i've forgotten because the last time i read him was in college and my collection was wiped out by termites! D: i'm currently trying to rebuild it.

depends on whether im hooked or i find it boring. i can finish a book in a few hours to a day but if boooring then it'll take me days/weeks.
