dollar bond fund...meron yan sa mga bank as uitf, then also as mutual fund. you can surf the net on this and compare...Since dollar earner ka and you still want to have an account on dollar maybe this will work for you...whatever you loss on devaluation, you may realize it on your investment..try to study because these are investments and there are some risk, well it depends on the economy.

^ano yung money tree ng philam, MF rin ba yun? or VUL?

for Sun Life, there is the Dollar Advantage Fund and Dollar Abundance Fund. Dollar Advantage Fund is a balanced fund that invests in both bonds and stocks, while the Prosperity Dollar Abundance Fund is a purely bond fund and more suitable for those who prefer the fixed-income earnings of bond instruments and don’t like the potential volatility of equity investments.

in case anyone is interested, PM me. there are freebies to be given away for investments 10,000 USD and up. promo good until end of the year.

^ to diversify your money sis, better to buy dollar bond funds.  kung dollar deposit lang, talo ka sa exchange rate.
Sis paano yung bonds? It made me curious kasi i noticed wala maxado kita pa savings account lang.

sisses, i have a dollar account that i opened early this year, though maintaining balance lang naman yun laman niya, im thinking of withdrawing it. would you recommend ba na withdraw na? nagaappreciate kasi peso natin tapos there is a forecast that it will appreciate to 39 per dollar by the end of next year.

^ parity--if its 1=1 .99=1  :)

kung halos magkasing value na sila. or magkasing-value.

i am earning in canadian dollars kasi.  and for the lst few years ilang beses ng nagkaroon ng parity ang us at cad $'s.  meron pa ngang mas mataas ang cad$ once.

but honestly parity is bad news hehe sa economy. it shows stronger economy pero there's lots of cons :(

^yes sis.  cad$ to peso=44.40; us$to peso is 43.70.

at mas bababa pa.  america reached it's credit limit.  so they need to sign a higher credit limit para hindi bumagsak rock bottom ang economy nila.  or else, babagsak. it was already predicted by those financial experts.  and parang nangyayari na nga.  :(

mga sis, i have a question. kasi my tita is in the states and she sends me packages yung mga binibenta ko. before, i pay her through her peso account dito sa pilipinas. now, she wants me to send na my money to her. so i was thinking western union na lang kaso baka malugi ako sa charges. so she suggested, she'll open a dollar account in citibank tapos dun ako magdedeposit so she can withdraw the money there in dollars. or if d man niya mawithdraw, at least, it's in the bank. question, may charges kaya yun? if ever, how much?
