sinubukan ko na nga namen i wean eh...kahapon sinubukan ko itago yung bottles nya, tinimplahan na lang daw ng mother ko sa training cup..nakuuu...ayaw..nagwala daw talaga!! ang nakakatawa pa nito..nakita nya kung saan tinago yung bottles nya  ..

ang hirap talaga lusutan ng mga bata ngayon, ang tatalino...yong son ko training cup na talaga sya before pa...ang prob ko naman eh pano sya iwean sakin kasi breastfed sya at fresh milk lang iniinom.

ako din problem ko 'to!my daughter turns 4 this january, at ayaw pa nya maawat sa pag inom ng milk on the bottle! She goes to school na, at di naman nag hahanap ng milk sa school. Pag nasa haus na cia, dun cia hihingi ng milk. She eats solid food na din, at lahat kinakain nya. She uses glass when she drinks water, juice, etc. Pero lakas pa din nya mag milk! Pampa tulog din nya un, and in the middle of the night talagang umiingit cia at nag hahanap ng milk.. Ang taba na tuloy nya kc ang lakas kumain and mag milk! Iba daw ang lasa pag nasa glass ang milk nya, talagang nag iiyak pag di bini bigyan ng milk. Problem is, [textspeak!] teeth nya, may mga decay na, not that di cia nag to tooth brush but nag babad kc cia ng bote sa mouth nya pag natutulog. Pag tinanggal mo, naku iiyak....!! Hayyy...ang hirap!

mga sis, ang hirap talaga mag wean nuh? ako din hirap sa daughter ko eh, pampatulog nya yun eh, sasabihin nya nga 2 oz lang, kasi yun and naririnig nya sa akin, kakaawa nga naman, pero, curious lang me, magiging spoiled ba anak natin sa kakaawa natin sa kanila sa pag wean?

^ Yung pagiging spoiled naman ng bata, marami pang ibang factors, not just bottlefeeding, in my opinion.

Dilemma ko rin ito now.  My sons are 2 years and 7 months old na and they still drink from the bottle.  When I remind them that they're little boys na and should be drinking from a cup, they tell me "ayaw cup, bottle lang."  Haay.

This is very hard talaga. I though potty training was harder but I was wrong. Before sleeping talaga Noelle can't drink milk from the glass otherwise nasasayang lang yung milk. Although we only do bottle feeding at night nalang now I am hoping that before summer ends dapat bye bye bottles na talaga kami..

i think technically, hershey weaned herself early from bottle feeding. i must be one lucky  mom i guess. no effort from our part. thank God.

I told my sons (per advice of the dev ped) that I will give away their bottles na when they turn 3.  Cold turkey ang approach na since they know how to drink from a cup.  Good luck to me.

^di ko sure sis if magkakaiba ang taste ng milk sa market. 

but then sis, if your baby found na mas masarap yung BM, go for it sis! mas healthy ang BM compare sa formula milk. Find ways kung pano mapadami production ng milk mo. 

I admire mothers na nakakapag breastfeed. If given a chance, mas gusto ko na breastfeed din ang baby ko, but then, i was away from him most of the time. regular office hour kasi ang sched ko. Kaya, formula milk din siya..

what is the implication ba kapag late sila ma wean.

naalala ko kasi ako, grade 1 na, i still use the dede. su-am with nido pa ako dati.

Haps, extended bottle-feeding may cause dental caries which leads to tooth decay.

Hi sis Momsie! I agree with sis Maui, if you can still continue with the breastfeeding, then by all means, GO! Unless you want to stop na? You mentioned that you were mixed feeding. Can you scrap the formula all together? The more exclusively breastfeeding you are, the more milk you'll have. I too wish that I put more effort into breastfeeding my daughter. Kung di ko lang siya na bottle feed kagad, maybe I would've been more successful.

i totally agree with maui_chie and momsielurks, sis. seldom will you find a baby who opted breastmilk more than formula milk. usually kase pag mixed feeding na mas gusto na nila ng formula eh.. you should be honored and happy, sis, kase your baby find your milk more satisfying.. so do ways nalang that could increase your production.. im sure alam mo na benefits ng breastmilk, you may want to recall or read those again para ganahan ka mag produce ulit 

kaya mo yan, sis! dont hesitate to ask for tips in increasing your milk production. im sure a lot of mommies here has one, including me

my son just stopped using dede to drink milk..5days na siyang di dumedede...we talked to him lang na since prep na siya, di na siya dapat dumedede..tsaka malakas din naman siyang kumain..di naman kame nahirapan..ngayon paggising milk from the cup na siya,then bago mag nap at bago matulog sa gabi.

i agree with sis wookies, yung pagbili ng mga cups
pinapili din namin siya ng mga basong gagamitin niya..and super enjoy siya kase iba iba yung cups niya

kaya mo yan, sis! dont hesitate to ask for tips in increasing your milk production. im sure a lot of mommies here has one, including me 

hi sis! im new dito sa thread na to. my baby's one month old palang. for the whole month, nagpupump ako ng bm pero napansin ko ngayon ng as in ang onti nalang ng milk ko. 1oz per pump nalang. hindi kasi ako nagpadirect feeding kay baby kasi naffrustrate sya dahil inverted nips ako. now, im trying na ipasuck kay baby yung nips ko, both nips. may lumalabas pa naman na milk pero super konti talaga kya kahit tagal na nya sa breast ko, gutom pa rin sya. so ill give him formula milk na. sis, if i continue na ipasuck kay baby yung nips ko, is it possible na dumami ulit yung bm ko? what are other ways pra mas dumami bm ko? thanks sis!

thanks mga sis most of the stories iv heard kase pag may teeth na si baby mahirap na daw. pero iv searched ways nananaman to increase milk production ko kase hindi na din enough yung milk ko.

sis lexi_girl pano ka nag pump ng milk? nilalagay mo ba fridge? pano expiry nung milk?

pwede ka mag take ng natalac or prolacta to increase milk production or yung mga malunggay capsule

Nagpupump ako before pero ayaw naman ni baby sa bottle natitigasan siguro sa tsupon kaya eto 9 months na siyang exclusive BF. To increase my milk production, naglalaga mother ko instead of the usual repolyo and petchay malunggay yung nilagay niya and according sa mga oldies wag daw itataas yung kamay pag natutulog matutuyuan daw ng gatas kaya ginagawa ko naman hehe!

sis lea06 for 9 months exclusive BF ka. galing naman. ako 4 months pa lang pero hindi na talaga satisfied baby ko kaya need ko na mag mixed feeding pero ayaw naman ni baby. mas gusto niya yung lasa ng BM. ano ginawa mo to increase milk production mo? iv tried kase [textspeak!] mga OTC drug pero parang hindi effective sa kin.
