^yup! I'll have the mineral water on hand in case she's hungry while waiting to get on the plane. I'm bringing an empty thermos and plan to ask the FA to fill with hot water that I can then mix with room temp water later on.

^sis, they will allow water kapag meron kang baby. Pero ang water ng baby namin noon nakalagay na sa feeding bottles niya and sa own water bottle niya.

today lang to, we were able to hand carry 750 ml of water in a lock and lock water bottle for baby and wala namang naging problema.

we'll have a stop-over in China going to the US. my 3 year old daughter is coming with us, problema ko pano ko dadalhin yung milk nya and her medicines kung bawal, ano papainom ko sa anak ko? ang haba pa naman ng flight.

trendy, i assume you read my post re china? please can you check the airlines FAQs and airports rules and regulations about baby essential kasi baka 1 off lang talaga kami dati. Tsaka di Shanghai airport kaya siguro mas strict sila.

^sis, guangzhou airport yung sa min, nabasa ko bawal liquid. may nabasa din akong isang review na pinatapon yung mga mineral water na binili sa duty free nila. =(

baka yung quantity ng liquid, up to 100ml lang maybe? complicated naman yata yan. i think it's safe if you put water sa feeding bottles na ni baby. di naman makatarungan kung pati yan e ipapatapon pa. or timplahin na agad? pero sabagay, fresh milk nga samen pinatapon.

Traveling With Babies - If you happen to be traveling with a baby within China, one interesting thing we discovered was, while you're not allowed to take milk on board with you, when you buy your ticket you can tell them you'll be with a baby that requires baby milk on board and the airline will provide it for you, for free. The only problem for westerners may be trusting the safety of the milk, as there have been so many problems with tainted baby formula and milk in China. If worried, and the flight is short, try to feed your baby right before and then pacify them on the flight with a pacifier instead of milk.

I actually saw this in the Shanghai airport a couple years ago on the way back to the US......Chinese security confiscated some three year old kid's milk bottle even though she was halfway through the bottle by the time they reached the security checkpoint. Also members in my group had their US security approved quantities taken away at checkpoint even medications. I think they were carrying 3.5 oz quantities when the Chinese will only approve 3 oz or less. And all this in spite of the fact they had papers showing they were meds.

I really think the Chinese side is far more stricter than what the UK or the US stipulate.

Turned out I had no problems with the milk anyway. Managed to even get a few bottles of water through. The main issues was with the double buggy. Took a while to get that through. I guess customs are not used to seeing double buggies and hence suspicion is aroused.

^ and its in their rules and regulations siguro. basta may liquid with this amount, trash, cannot be boarded. no explanations needed. kasi as per our experience, we dont have to explain e, may bata talaga kaming dala so naturally the kid would need milk, pero wala silang paki alam. with their scary faces.

^this is scary. good thing hindi kami natuloy mag china this year. breastfed naman baby ko but i dont think i'll be really comfy with the idea of buying fresh milk there due to their issues with their contaminated milks...

sis, next week na. nakaisip na ko ng paraan, before ng flight painumin ko na sya ng milk since midnight naman yung flight, matutulog na lang naman sya nun. pag gising nya, konting hintay na lang nasa US na kami, so carry na.

We just got back from our trip to China via Xiamen airport. We didn't have any problem bringing in milk formula thru the airport. I had one 9 oz bottle full of am (rice water) for the trip and a container of milk powder.

What they actually questioned was my toy cleanser, alcohol and baby bottom wipe. But they let it thru too. Luckily my MIL was there to explain to them what it was for.

My biggest worry was take off and landing but my baby wasn't bothered by any of that at all. She was happily looking at the flight card.

from singapore to cebu flight, it was hassle-free for our five-month old baby.  pati on our connecting flight from cebu to dumaguete.  he was either sleeping thru the flight or just awake but not fussy.  on our way back to singapore, from dumaguete to cebu iyak ng iyak. he was already 7 months na, by this time but his behavior was extreme. worse for our 3.5 hours flight from cebu to singapore.  he was crying hysterically the whole time throughout the flight.

another thing na hassle pala, when baby had to poop at the airport.  di maganda ang mga changing rooms sa atin, maraming ipis!  kaya sa labas na lang kami nagpalit ng diaper. twice pa yun nangyari at once sa plane.

Grabe pala sa China ano? Ang hirap naman kapag meron baby na kasama. Parang random ang pag select nila sa mga passengers na pagbabawalan na magdala ng milk. Sana naka black and white and do's and don'ts nila for passengers traveling with their babies.

^Sis, same experience tayo nung infant pa ang baby ko. Longest 3.5hrs ng buhay ko iyon hahaha

Before I used the sterilizing tablets in Mothercare.  But I love the portable sterilizer I got from Momtrepreneur Shop at Shangri-la Mall.  Mas ok sya for me, easy to use, especially nung nahulog pacifier ni baby sa plane.  I just rinsed it with some bottled water then I used na the portable sterilizer. Super easy and handy.

Btw, I also bought their Totseat portable highchair.  So useful din, especially there are places and (relative's) houses na walang high chair.
