Sis  CANDACENA, yang sinusitis give up na ko. As in, it is a given if I live in MMla  kahit naka aircon ako 24/7 -- may mga times of the year atching ako ng atching as in parang my brains will come out with the next big sneeze.  Tama ka, it starts there. So, I stop it there too before magka cough ako, tapos bronchial asthma.

So, I take daily Centrum. Tapos pinalitan ni hubby to:  USANA naman since over a year ago.  The 2 basics, plus ,VIT C & Calcium.  AND pag panahon ng sobrang sinus:  I take XYCAL 5mg in the morning & XYCAST 10mg at bedtime.  I am very satisfied with these kasi  I don't end up with bronchial asthma.

I take USANA NUTRIMEAL Dutch Chocolate or Capuccino  in the mornings. I have no appetite for breakfast, but my doc said I have to take breakfast para ma delay our hereditary onset of Type 2 diabetes.  So, that Nutrimeal is a convenient breakfast for me.

(The Capuccino, I buy in the US from Amazon -- it's a Limited Edition Nutrimeal. IMO, nothing great -- pampatanggal sawa lang sa other flavored. :D).

^ pareho pala tayo sis. Pareho may sinusitis. Mag vit c na lang nga ako or centrum pede sabay yung dalawa... Yun din ang recommend ng doctor ko xycal.. Pwede ba dalawa yun sis. Hindi kaya overdose na yung 10 mg hehe. Thanks sa mga sumagot. ;) appreciate it

^Sis: AM take the XYCAL 5mg with your Centrum & VIT C,  at bedtime, take the XYCAST 10mg.  I feel ok, and I lead a very busy life.

My sinusitis is a hereditary thing my siblings & I share. Dati, naka daily steroids pa ko.  Tapos, I developed asthma, another hereditary thing akala ko lumampas sa kin. :(

The combination of XYCAL & XYCAST enables me to cut out the steroids (my last one was Symbicort 2puffs everyday AM & PM, so total 4 everyday)

Before this XYCAL-XYCAST  combo, I took the Symbicort with 4 other meds. Susko, walking pharmacy ako.  Tapos, I had the puffer Ventolin everywhere: cars, office, kitchen, bedroom, computer room - Ngek.

So, I decided to fine tune it all.   It really works if you stop it agad sa sinusitis -- you will not develop bronchial asthma that takes a month at least to recover from. And I regularly take my vitamins now. Dati sporadic eh.
Teka: best you consult your doc ha. But well, hahaha. I did consult 2 docs and did what I thought my body responded better to. My hubby says that: Listen to your body, mga docs magaling mambugbog with meds. Lol, Peace!

Para hindi ma OT:  USANA, per my docs: are the Mercedes Benz of  vitamins.
BUT my old cousin doc in the US says Centrum is good enough. If over 50, Centrum Silver.  He is 80plus, plays golf weekly, dances like a 50yo, travels a lot. He says that is all he takes: Centrum.

But hubby & I take the USANA cocktail of tabs. :D

Based sa nabasa ko dito sa gt.

If you want glowing skin - Proflavanol C
If gusto mo pumuti - Hepasil

Sa ngayon I'm taking essentials lang muna.

Yung lolo ko, twice pa lang umiinom ng essentials eh nagka effect na sa kanya. Mahimbing daw ang tulog nya kaya kahit past 6am tulog pa unlike before na 5am.
