^ thanks for the mattress dimensions for the chicco playard. di na ako magsusukat. 

i emailed babiesrus to ask about the package dimensions of the chicco playard. weird kasi yung binigay niya ay 10.9H x 10.3L x 14.6W all in inches. kasya sa biggest box ng pobox.ph? ang inexpect ko nga din na size tulad nung sa ebay link na pinost mo pero iba yung binigay niya. so now nalilito ako. baka magtanong na nga lang ako sa chicco stores dito. or mukhang dito na lang ako bibili.

naku clueless upon reading your post i checked my records!! mali ang nalagay ko..na mix uo ko sya 36 x 24 x 4 dapat!! sorry for the confusion
medyo maluwag sya ng konti so expect na may mga toys na bumagsak sa gilid gilid..you add siguro half an inch on both sides.. para sakto..or maybe 1 inch pero ok lang naman as is na 36 x 24 x 4.

labo nun sa babiesrus ha..baka they ship it also in a box that size kasi may sariling box ang ups sa US?? di namin kasi na-experience pa ship fm babiesrus kasi my friend just went to the store and bought it there kaya siguro yung nakuha namin as is sa box.

magtatanong muna ako ulit sa chicco dito kung anong size ng box. ang worry ko kasi baka mali yung dimensions na bigay ng babiesrus. eh kung bibili ako tapos di pala kasya sa balikbayan box, mas mapapamahal ako.

pero malaki ang chance na baka dito na lang din ako bumili.

liya, kamusta rail teether? nakakita ka ba sa rustans? prince lionheart diba? meron dito kasi sa SG..

meron din kasi akong nakita na gummy rail sa amazon.com... im looking into this kasi kahit anong size ng crib rail mo pwede..kaso may adhesive sya..baka naman masira yung tela ng playard..
sa ngayon we have the lampin to cover the rails...

i guess pwede na din ang lampin for now.. sandali lang din kasi magagamit yan kasi mabilis lang ang stage na yan.. although yung nakita ko dito plastic type sya na hindi need ng adhesive.. ipapapasok mo na lang sa rails tapos mag eexpand sya kung gano kalaki yung rails..

ang uratex ba meron din mattress na meron holes? yung para sa anti-SIDS?

haay...napansin ko nga kanina yung rails ng crib..may mga naka-angat na na sinulid..i snipped some of it na with a scissor.. haaay now im thinking if i should snip everything na para lang wala na nung sinulid..

i'm not sure if uratex has the anti-sids one.. pero from looking at their website mukhang wala eh..

yun pala mattress na binili ko sa uratex un ang cheapest nila na foam mattress ha? [textspeak!] ordinary uratex foam lang..di na ako kumuha ng permahard na mas mahal

mommies, saan ang uratex and what is their contact numbers? plan ko kasi sana magtanong how much yung 28x52 nila na mattress, for our baby's crib sana. Last sunday, we bought the bimbo bello crib from SM, convertible to toddler's bed. puwede daw til 7 yrs old si baby. The SA there informed us na 28x52 yung kasya na mattress for the crib, standard size daw, 1500pesos sa kanila, so far yun na yung cheapest sa SM baby company. Baka lang kasi mas mura sa uratex mismo. Also, nagde-deliver kaya sila or pick up lang. Gaano kaya katagal bago makuha yung mattress? Thanks in advance!

hi mga sis.  i need your helo. i cant find the entry on where a fellow GT mom wrote about her uratex that she had cut tof it her crib. do you have any idea where i can have a uratex fitted to the exact dimension of my baby's crib? thanks so much

share ko lang for the mommies who are considering to get a cot/wooden crib:

we went to maypajo st. in caloocan yesterday and we were able to get a 24x42" crib at Php3200 (original price was Php3500). Yung quality niya, same as the ones sold in SM. The owner said, KILN DRIED daw yung wood na yon. Madami din kasing mumurahin na crib which they sell at Php1500-2000 only pero medyo flimsy, although convenient dahil collapsible.

Yung larger size which is around 24x52 (or 58, not so sure) is around Php4000 naman. And I'm pretty sure that you can still haggle the price.

Regarding the mattress/foam, i just inquired sa uratex and they're 4-inch thick 24x42" foam mattress w/ cover sells at Php1155. So overall, the baby's crib would only cost around Php4400. Samantalang yung small wooden cribs sa SM already costs Php5000 wala pa yung foam which is priced at Php1500-1700 naman.

^playpen lang bibilhin ko for my baby, hinde yung crib talaga.

wooden crib ang binili ko sa baby ko. then uratex mattress. buti nalang i didnt bought te expensive one, kasi ngayon tambakan lang ng toys nya yung crib my baby co-sleeps with me

winnie_the_martian, playard lang bibilhin ko. yung may bassinet and changing table na. chicco lullaby.

mas ok kasi kung playpen mas economical kesa bili ng crib after ilang months bili naman ng playpen. since yung mga playpens naman eh pwde narin crib dahil may mga second floors siya na natatanggal naman pagmalaki na si baby. plus, space save kasi natutupi ng maliit talaga

for me hindi ko nagustuhan yung graco crib namin (si lolo kasi nya bumili). plan ko buy ng wooden crib pero gusto ko yung convertible one.

ok ba yung mga pillow and comforter set na nasa SM department store? Ideally ilan dapat bilhin kong ganon?

yes sis okay lang yun. dame naman brands sa sm dept store diba? maganda daw ang owen. i have 3sets lang. okay lang naman sis, papalit palit lang yung tatlo. actually ngayon hindi masyadong nagagamit kasi si baby katabi ko matulog

I purchased 2 sets of Owen Baby Set and cotton talaga sila hindi magaspang sa skin ni baby, I've tried checking sa mga ibang section nila for Bedding Set, medyo mahal lang nga ang Owen pero maganda talaga.

Sino gumagamit ng URATEX Mattress para sa Crib ni Baby?  I used GRACO Crib, kaso gusto ko sana ng Mattress, magandang nakita ko and very matibay is Uratex, but wala silang Size for GRACO. TIA!
