havent tried astoria kc fully-booked na nung ngplan kmi ng party. We went to Linden Suites. 7K [textspeak!] 2-BR executive suite. bday party ng bf ko, 19 kami lahat. nagdala kmi 3 bottles of hard drinks, 2 cases of beer in can. walang nanita khit sobrang ingay nmin. walang nagpauwi ng guests. 5 lang ata umuwi ng past midnite na. the rest nagstay until morning.

me corkage fee if pinakita nyo [textspeak!] drinks. ginawa namin, sinabay sa luggage [textspeak!] drinks pero ipinabalot nmin sa ng gift wrap para hindi halata. d nman masyado iinspect e. then una kmi ng bf ko sa room, galing kmi basement kc me car, then [textspeak!] guests pinadiretso nmin, walang sabi sabi sa front desk, pag tinanong tsaka [textspeak!] nila sasabihin [textspeak!] room number. sa elevator lobby nmin minimeet kc me card key sa room e 18th floor kmi, sa elevator nmin sinusundo [textspeak!] guests. basta d [textspeak!] sabay sabay dumating at umalis.
ngluto pala kmi dun.

minsan mas mura pag sa hotel mismo ngpabook thru phone then pay later. minsan mura sa agoda, minsan sa asiatravel. iba iba. so compare muna before kau pabook.

sa lancaster, mas mura daw and d talaga strict. kaso, based sa pics, less cozy din [textspeak!] rooms. parang bahay lang.

me and my friend had our combined baby shower party in Linden last Sat.

we had 15 guests in total who stayed til 2am and we even borrowed an AVR from them bec we brought WII for entertainment 

it was super fun..

walk in rates: 1 br is 5,500 (w/ bfast for 2) and 2 br is 6,500 (w/ bfast for 4) kids below 6yrs old is free.

they are not very strict naman with the no. of persons who will sleep sa room. we were 5 adults and 2 kids who slept in a 1 br unit.

wow wish i knew this sooner. nag-stay kasi kami dun before and they had this clause in what you sign upon checking in that if guests stay later than a certain time they will be charged a certain amount (medyo big) per head. kala ko strictly implemented, nagpaka-masunurin kami.

pwede bang magkantahan sa linden? im planning to give my 8 yr daughter a party. she likes hotel pero she wants daw na mag videoke kami. kahit magic sing lang. im thinking of linden. pwede kaya dun?

Try Oakwood Premiere in Ortigas. This was a year ago ha.  I booked the 1 bedroom suite and called my friends for a get together.  There's 8 of us and everyone ended up staying overnight. some slept on the couch and sa bedroom floor carpeted naman unlike sa astoria. The security to get in was very tight but I don't think they cared as to how many people are coming in. We went food shopping earlier that day and the staff even helped us to bring the stuff in our room. We were kinda loud. one of my friends brought her magic sing. Everything was nice! fully equipped kitchen, nice tub w/ lcd in bathroom & sauna. They have a nice indoor pool din pla.

^ hi sis rian! may promo uli ang Discovery Suites thru Deal Grocer! just want to ask kung hindi ba mahigpit ang Discovery for having friends over or magstay sa room. if we go swimming sa pool on the 5th floor, they will let them in naman, at hindi sila haharangin? TIA!

^ in my experience, no. hindi mahigpit. di namin natry maligo sa pool, pero when we checked it out - walang bantay. no one is actually there. so i guess walang magiging problema. wag lang too many siguro.

Sa A. Venue Suites not strict naman. I had my baby shower there. We got a 1 bedroom suite, with a small kitchen, microwave (if you'll bring foods, you can reheat here)

Accessible pa for guests who happen to be in Makati area lang. Will surely eb back there some time.

 Hi. I just wanna ask how many you guests you had during your baby shower. I plan to do the same there kaya lang i'm iffy about the space whether it'll be good enough for 25pax.

sis, maliit yun 2 bedroom deluxe nila. kaya ang kinuha ko yun 2 bedroom executive nila... malaki aqng carpeted yun area. yun cr sa deluxe parang common kasi while sa executive magkahiwalay tapos parehong may bath tub. executive both have tv sets while deluxe masters lang ang meron and yun living room...

yes, i also tried astoria.. twice na during the shower party of my sister and team building.. ok talaga cia very spacious.. kaya lang if after 9pm ata dapat di na ganun maingay kasi un ibang guest nagrereklamo na then yun reception will call you pag nakailang beses ata na tawag un reception my penalty and you will have additional charges.

celebrated my birthday in Lancaster Hotel, Shaw last Saturday...

superb!!! hindi mahigpit sa alak, sa number ng people, sa ingay... got room # 2405, executive 1br suite! ganda ng view... =)

will try another hotel naman, for experience!
