And nagtry kami sa church kaso my document sya from catholic church sa sweden na 1yr pa makukuha e ok na lahat so no choice to have a garden wedding na lang po.

^sis pamysabel - ang tawag dun is love gift instead of pastor fee. Actually, there is no basic range of how much kasi it's a gift nga and not a fee. So, you can give whatever your hearts desire.

In our case, we were wed last Sept. 18. We wrote a thankyou card and then inserted our love gift dun sa card.

Ako kasi, im a catholic din and my hubby is a methodist, gusto ko sana catholic wed pero kaya lang pastor yung dad nya, so nakakahiya naman na sa catholic pa kami ikasal..
For me, ok naman ang methodist kung galing kang catholic, may ilan lang silang hindi pinaniniwalaan na pinaniniwalaan nating mga catholic.. Hindi na din ako kinailangan ma-baptize kasi parang kapag from catholic ka yata ok na, iaabsorb ka na lang nila.

Guato mo sis, try mo na lang din mag inquire sa mga churches na malapit sa inyo.. Tapos pakiramdaman mo din yung church, minsan kasi maffeel mo yung parang dun ka tinatawag..

okay ba sa jubilee evangelical church. parang mahaba yung lakaran eh. kaso i want our pastor to officiate our wedding. will call them to ask. sana di sila kasing sugi ng catholic churches sa rates

no need to convert. usually may counseling din yan by the pastor. ask your officiating pastor for requirements.

bayad is not asked by the pastor unlike sa catholic church may bayad talaga. love gift ang tawag to whatever amount you are willing to give your officiating pastor pero kung close mo talaga yung pastor eh kahit wala na, parang gift na niya sa inyo yun.

thanks. di ako nagbackread. hehe. nga pala, sabi ng h2b ko, born again dw sila...thanks sa mga info. eto mga nalaman ko from this thread. paki correct kung mali man:

need na requirements: birth certificate for marriage licence, cenomar, Marriage licence, at yung counceling sa church.

same lang halos sa catholic, may mga entourage din at mga bible bearer pero optional naman yung iba.

no need na magpaconvert pa pero atleast isa sa amin ang christian

Gift of love ang tawag sa catholic na pastor "fee"

pwede, pero magastos. sa christian weddings no need na magpa convert si fiance mo, pero for catholic weddings di ko sure ang rules nila.

ang alam ko need magpaonvert ni husband to be mo sa catholic kung magpapakasal pa kau sa catholic church. kasi need nia magpasa ng documents ng catholic. atsaka sis, di na practical kung twice kau ikakasal. ang mahalaga dun kasal ka na... unless royal blood ka, kung kaya naman e okay din.

sis our wedding was held at san sebastian and they gave an option to have a mixed religion na wedding. =) my hubby is christian and i'm catholic. may requirement lang sila from my hubby's church allowing him to get married sa catholic church. check mo na lang rin if possible rin yun with your church. =)

@bittersweet I think you are talking about Jubilee Evangelical Church. gusto ko nga din check yan, compare ko sa Good Sam kung ano mas mahaba ang aisle. but i think Jubilee is better in terms of parking space eh. So literal magbabaon kami ng tape measure.

San pa kaya ok na Christian Church? worth it kaya to check Union Church of Manila?
