^depends on your officiating minister..kami kasi wala pa siguro 1 hour yung ceremony. maikli lang yung sermon part tapos 1 lang yung song number namin na live. i noticed kasi na most of the time ang nagpapahaba sa ceremony yung mga song numbers. naging parang concert na yung wedding

^I agree with sis jellybean, atleast one hour ang christian ceremony. We had two songs live naman sa ceremony namin, isa sa pagtinatanggal na yung cord and veil and one naman sa signing of contract

Yup, mine was mga 1 1/2 hours total for ceremony. March lang, then opening prayer, 2 Bible readings, pastor's sermon, a few minutes of "speeches" from bride and groom, and then vows, and then pics. We had ceremony and reception in same place too, just moved rooms, and I think less than an hour later na-start na namin reception.

Nagpa-quote ako sa Ibarra, and when I said na its gonna be a christian wedding, dun yung ceremony and reception at the same time they said na may additional P7.5k daw, I asked why is it necesseray, e kaya nga gusto ko dun na din pra I wont pay for separate venue na e,. sagot nila

"Php7,500.00 Wedding Rites Package includes additional 1hour for the rites, flower aisle, unity candles and kneeler."

i think its so mahal,. e lahat naman ng reception may flower aisle diba, yung red carpet na dadaanan ng newly weds,. papunta sa table nila,.

^^ sis shatz medyo mahal nga yun for just renting the same venue..try to negotiate with them, if you can have the place set-up yourself (like if you'll be providing the aisle flowers, unity candles, etc) baka pwede babaan nila yung additional fee. but most venues do ask for an additional if you will hold the ceremony in the same place unless part yun ng package nyo with them

Hmm if your program was like mine, ok na ito, but it depends on your pastor I think, siya talaga ang nagse-set ng pace. You can bring it up with him na may oras kayong habol, baka he can tell you then based on his experience what time to start!

^^thanks sis jellybean0516,. will try din sa other venue,. dpat wala ng additional charge sa ganun, we're renting the place, wala na dapat sila pakelam ano gagawin natin sa place diba,. wag lang makasira ng property,.

my friend is getting married sa Ellinwood BUT they're already civilly married here in Australia

she was advised by her coord that in order for the marriage to be recognized daw in the Philippines, she needs to go to the Philippine Embassy daw dito?

Hindi ko sure kasi we had a Catholic wedding and we didn't have to go to the embassy naman

sis kinda pricey pero norm talaga na may additional pag same place ang ceremony and reception.. baka pwede nila tanggalin yung iba like unity candle then ikaw na lang mag provide tapos pa quote mo ulit kung pwede sa kanila ang ganon.. happy preps sis

Depende sa church and pastor. My Christian wedding, required na at least isa sa couple member of the church of the pastor. So dumaan ako sa membership process, and h2b and I went through the pre-marital counseling classes, a few months before our wedding.

Iba pa to sa seminars that the City of Makati required us to take so we could get a marriage license. Whole day effort siya, DSWD seminar in the morning and DOH seminar in the afternoon. Supposedly may ibang napapa-waive ito if they attended a Catholic or Christian seminar, pero in fairness may nakuha naman kaming magandang insights from the govt seminars. Lalo pa't yung mga kasabay namin doon nakita namin may pagka-clueless! Kailangan ready ka lang to lose a day but it's not all useless.
