My Boyfriend is Catholic at ako Baptist. We are together for 11 years now at never naman naging dahilan ng pagaaway namin ang religion. If you really love him, lalawakan mo yung pangunawa sa kanya.

I know everything will fall into place :)

^ yun naman talaga ang maganda, kung saan kayo nagkakapareho ng belief doon kayo mag meet halfway. it doesn't matter what religion you belong. nakakalungkot lang isipin na okay kayo sa lahat ng bagay, mahal nyo ang isat isa but dahil sa different religion lahat ng meron kayo masasasacrifice at posibleng mauwi pa sa wala ang lahat.

Question ko lang kasi my bf is a muslim although not that religious, ako naman catholic, bago pa lang kame and i was wondering paano kaya this coming christmas. He lived in europe before so hindi naman ganoon ka big deal ang pasko unlike dito sa atin.

For him syempre no big deal ang occassion na yun, except of course he has no work. Sa akin there will be christmas parties, family reunions, noche bueana etc. Not to mention gift giving.

He is my first bf na iba ang religion kasi mga exes ko catholic lahat.

^ I personally think na you should first get to know him ano ba ?strict? or ?not strict? sa kanya.

Being around you during Christmas is one of the simplest issue. Bigger issues would be like weddings, family nya can accept you? Mga practices nila excused ka ba? Pano kids nyo?

When I was new to dating, isip ko kahit ano religion ok lang. but then as I get to meet people and understand different religions, imho opinion, Buddhist medyo close or may similarities to Christian/catholic. Pero Muslim by far, yun na realise ko na I cannot accept. Marami syang rules na di ko tanggap. Well ako lang naman. May mga pinay naman na able to be happy din naman so kanya kanya.

Point ko Lang naman is kilalanin mo sana muna sya, his personality, family, friends, their religion kasama narin, before naging kayo.

Religion especially kung devoted ka sa religion mo can be a huge issue. How are you going to implement something like prayers, baptism, going to church regularly if your partner isn't supportive of what you believe in?

Thanks for the replies. He eats pork.

I asked him and he said sa europe kasi one day lang ang christmas so no big deal unlike here na september pa lang may christmas decors na tayo.

He takes pictures of christmas trees and decors.
