Nesz, yes, pray to St. Joseph.  The convent of the Pink Sisters in New Manila is called St. Joseph's Convent, I think.  That's where I prayed before the Bar exams.  Every Saturday before the exam (which is on a Sunday), I'd go there before going to my hotel.  Super subok ko na ang good sisters.

Imagine, at 30, I was single and had no boyfriend tapos all set na kong maging single forever.  I was planning to study abroad and that was consuming my time.   God had other plans. I met my husband when I least expected it and where I least expected to find a husband (in BIR, a government office full of old, married men of all places)...

Lia, huwag ka munang ma-pressure.  Bata pa nga ang anak mo. When she turns 2-3, expect an explosion of language and skills.  Magugulat ka na lang. :D

Kim, before akong nag-post ulit, lumabas ang new post mo.  There's a St. Joseph church in Aurora Boulevard in Cubao.  You can go there.

Kapag ganyan si EJ, I guess your prayer should be for him to grow up.  Maybe, time apart is a good idea.

Turuan mo lang si Gianna and be consistent.  Siguro you can start by asking her to bless kapag darating ka from work.

thanks lia and marose! will try to go sa palanan or las piñas. dati, i used to go to St. Jude in Malacañang a lot especially during my pregnancy. i prayed for a smooth and healthy delivery which happened naman.

lia, we started to live together when i gave birth pa lang. so that's about 4 months now. we're not yet married, became a couple in 2008. he's turning 30 this year. dadaan ako sa inyo one of these days pag natapos ko na ang aking driving lessons. LOL! nung saturday, paikot ikot lang kami sa phase 1 and sa may simbahan. kaloka, puro more practice ang rating ko after. hehe

^aaww Kim, dont worry things will be ok. Just pray to God lang.

Yesterday, I was updating Zoe's memory book and I asked Dan to write his part of the letter to Zoe. I fell asleep while he was writing but when I woke up, tulog sila ni Zoe and I decided to read his letter. When i finished, I was crying cus I was so touched with what he wrote. He has always been expressive with his feelings towards me and Zoe but he's not much of a writer kaya when he writes notes or other things talagang parang gold yan saken.

kim.. ganyan din si hubby napaka immature.. i was prepared to accept it all.. as in sobrang bait ko na.. pero yung ipagpalit kami sa babaeng may asawa at anak yun ang di ko kinaya.. i can tolerate his immaturities, pero ito yung di ko kinaya na part ng immaturity niya.. pray ka lang.. pero masasabi ko lang don't expect him to change, pag nagalsabalutan ka, dahil immature nga siya, prepare mo din sarili mo na di niya kayo itaguyod..  good thing na di pa kayo married :)

nesz, yan din ang ayoko na hintaying mangyari. baka dumating sa point na mambabae pa siya, di bale na lang. as early as now, i have to stand my ground and show him what's okay and what is not okay.

^Correct Kim. As they say, there's always a reason for everything. Whatever happens, I'm sure God will be with you and Katie :)

Nakakaloka na ang childless thread. The discussion has become cheap na, ayoko na syang basahin hehe

My second baby is 3months old who's exclusively breastfed, she was just baptized last weekend :) This forum has been really helpful to me. hope to know more about you mommies! =)

I just got home. I used to go to save more in alabang kasi nag-grocery ako after office.

Yung job offer ko kanina mas mataas naman ng konti ang offer nila in temrs of gross pay. But sin e i work for an rohq now and i enjoy 15% tax, nadali sa net pay, mas mababa. Though gusto ko sana bumalik sa 8-5 job, di namina afford the paycut. Sayang di . So maybe what i can do now is see if a 12-9 schedule will work better instead of 2-11. But if i do that naman, sayang din yung matitipid namin ni hubbyby taking 1 car to work na lang kung pareho kaming 2-11. Hay. I have until tomorrow to respond. I will try to negotiate pa.

Kim, some men are really immature but maybe later on he will realize what he has to lose if he doesnt change his ways. Sana it wont be too late when that happens. But savor your moments na lang with katie. And i dont agree that 2 people have to stay together just for the kid/s. Pray for guidance.

Van, i saw those heinz rusks. Sabi sa box, mix with milk then crush eh. I wanted to buy nga sana.

Pinkcoyote, welcome. Please give your name and age and yoir kids' names also.

Lia, i think ok din na may lesson plan si yaya pero i think dapat may follow through ka din. I also encourage the yaya to teach b some things like close open, wave hi and bye, mga ganon. But i also teach her these things para tuloy tuloy. And consistent.

ROHQ din ako pero hindi ako pasok sa 15% dahil sa bagong memorandum na yan..grrrr... pero ang take away ko na lang ay madami akong work from home kaya i cant ask for anything more na din.. kasi they have been very accommodating to my situation.. lol.. kaya i have a lot of time to spend with V.

kim, mas mahabang pasensya talaga kelangan. :( at more more prayers.. ive seen great miracles in my life thru prayers kaya dont lose hope :) aja aja!

Jai, yes 15%. i think not all our employees enjoy 15% tax. may certain criteria yata to qualify like may minimum annual salary requirement, dapat senior consultant, etc. My last 2 employers 15% tax din but not rohq. Special arrangement for companies in the petroleum industry. Kaya tuloy hirap ako makahanap ng company na tatapat sa net ko kasi kung regular 32% tax, i skew their salary structure daw. Ilang companies na nagsabi sakin niyan.

Re pobox. Dear, kung sasali ka sana asap na. Latest delivery estimate of our items is may 10 tapos aalis na ang box. Kung sasali ka sana on or before may 10 din ang eta ng items mo sa pobox warehouse in california.

Naalala ko pala. When we out to dinner for my mom's birthday a couple of weeks ago, natuwa ako kasi yung size 1 rl sandals na espadrille type ni b eh nasuot na niya. I called sugi yesterday, wala naman daw naiwan. :( nasasayangan ako sa shoes.
