baka meron kang copy nung OEC (Overseas Employment Certificate) ni hubby mo. Pakita mo lang yun sa Travel Tax counter along with your marriage certificate para maka-discount ka sa Travel tax. P500 na lang instead of P1620 ang babayaran mo.
Sa same counter (or minsan sa check in counters) or sa Information counter, may mga immigration cards na nakakalat. Pwede ka na kumuha para habang pumipila ka sa check-in pwede mo na fill-up-an.
After you pay travel tax, before you check-in, may visa check na booth infront the check-in counters of Qatar Airways, ready mo lang yung passport mo, yung authenticated visa and yung ticket mo.
After check-in, you have to pay P750 pa pala na Terminal Fee before you reach immigration. After immigration, meron na namang baggage scanner and body scanner. kaya better if wag ka na magsuot ng belt, jacket, complicated shoes (slip-ons or sandals na lang) kase papa tanggal lahat sayo yun. Then hassle susuotin mo na naman. And make sure all your liquids are checked-in. Even the liquid foundations, hand sanitizers, colognes, etc. kase kino confiscate nila.
Some reminders also:
- better go to the airport 2 or more hours before flight sched. kase minsan, haba ng pila sa mga counters. and Qatar Airways closes counters 1 hour before flight. kaya pag na late ka, di ka talaga nila papasakayin. And minsan, super haba ng pila sa immigration. kaya minsan magbo boarding na, nakapila ka pa. kaka stress talaga.
- have all your documents in 1 place -- and keep it in your handbag. minsan kase daming hinihingi ng immigration, depende sa topak nila, so better be ready di ba -- ako i have a clearbook with all the impt documents -- xerox copies and originals of my and hubby's birth certificate, our marriage certificate, xerox of hubby's visa/pataka, company id, passports. Also, have these info ready for filling-up the immigration card - address in Phils and address in Qatar. Phone number in Phils and in Qatar. Passport details.
- weigh your baggage beforehand. 20kg yta ang allowance ng checked-in baggage + 7kg for the hand-carry.
