PAINT or WALLPAPER?

I'd choose paint over wallpaper. With Paint, you can save money because you can do it by yourself instead of hiring people to do it.

And if you have rowdy kids around, wallpapers tend to get easily torn by them, thus the need to replace it.

I choose paint. it has longer term benefits. like waterproofing your wall. iwas ipis pa kasi yung paste na gamit sa wallpaper kinakain ng ipis

Paint and Wall paper I think. Sa mahal ng mga going rates ng mga pintor ngayon, same na lang sila ng cost ng wallpaper unless you can paint well or may kilala layo na maayos na pintor. I plan to have the house interior repainted but I think I will use wallpaper on a few more walls than usual.

just my 2 cents. madali lang ang DIY na paint. dyaryo, masking tape, rollers, brushes and paint bucket. your all set. messy pero rewarding ang feeling afterwards, nakatipid ka pa. ^_^

Sooo true ang mahal ng mga pintor mas mahal pa sa painstall ng wallpaper ang magpapintura..

for rooms, i would choose wallpaper. for the house's entirety, paint na lang.

for health reasons, ayoko talaga ng pintura. kahit kasi yung mga odorless na paint, meron pa ding amoy. para hindi masyadong mahal, yung mga kwarto lang ang naka-wall paper. libre naman ang installation nun.

Ok bang gumamit ng wallpaper compare to paint? Gusto ko kasi ipa renovate yung bahay ko. I heard mas safe gumamit ng wallpaper kasi walang fumes. Please share your insights :-)

either way for me, depends on what will look better with the interior. for our place, more of wallpaper kasi medyo shabby chic style and my ID can get really nice wallpaper like chevron patterns and the like so we'll go for that

Up ko lang itong thread. You can check out sulit for vinyl type wallpapers. Mas maganda vinyl kasi durable and pwede i-brush with water to clean it. Tama kayo sis mas maganda wallpaper kasi walang fumes kaya mas safe para sa kids.

gusto kong maglagay ng wall paper sa condo ko kaya lang wala akong makitang magandang design.  I dont want to put too much wall paper naman accent lang para hindi boring tignan [textspeak!] unit.

kami naman, plan namin na wallpapers sa room namin then sa living room and other areas paint na..
mas gusto ko kasi na may design ako nakikita sa room ko..maliiit lang naman yung room so keri na ang wallpapers..

kasi mabilis ako magsawa e. so madalas pag sawa na ko, ako na mismo nagpepaint ng sarili kong room. as per design and color, may mga brushes and rolls na may design.

yung wallpaper cute tignan pero nagchichip off katagalan. tapos pag may bata sa bahay, ayun! kudkod kudkod at tanggal na.

hi! i'm thinking of redecorating my bedroom, kasi i'm about to have a baby (in august pa naman) and i plan to make my room somewhat look like a nursery..pero not all the way din, kasi i share the room with my sister too. i just want it to look freshened up.

the old wallpaper has long been there and i'm planning on having it either changed or just get the walls painted.

ano mas maganda OR mas mura? WALLPAPER or PAINT?

Paint! Para yung color ng wall pang baby parin then you could add up na lang some frames, baby things on the wall, etc.

ako for the meantime wallpaper. meron na akong nabili sa 168 may adhesive na sya pero yun nga lang ikaw na mag install. feeling ko kasi plain yung bahay pag paint lang  kasi pag wall paper may mga designs na agad.

Paint is cheaper, easier to clean, basta water-based. pag wall paper kasi, kapag tumagal, sobrang madikit na sa wall and if u have to remove it, you have to use paint stripper pa. hassle.
