naexperience ko din pala na ibyahe si baby sa plane na may sipon... ang hirap talaga nun.. as in mega iyak sa eroplano kahit na nag paracetamol na sya.. akala ko makakatulog sa gamot pero talagang iyak to the max lang

where can you buy a vaporizer here in the Philippines?  I saw a vicks vaporizer in S&R before pero vicks lang aw puede lagay dun so mahirap maintenance nun if wala nang mahanap na vicks na for the vaporizer (it's different ata from the ordinary vicks).

My kids are on the mend pa lang from a bout of cough and colds.  My toddler is almost absolutely recovered, yung baby boy (5 months) na lang ang may sipon paminsan minsan and cough minsan lang rin.  I give homeopathic meds lang prescribed by Dra. Cricket.

In trying to prevent them from getting sick, I always give them vitamins and make sure they eat right (or feed right) and that they take their vitamins.

vicks ang brand ng vaporizer ni baby ko,, but i use RHEA brand inhalant solution sa mercury drug ako nabili its like P65 yung malaking bottle n oki naman sya.. mahal kasi ang vicks n brand kaya generic naman nalng gingamit ko...

We just came home from the hospital last night. My son was confined in St. Luke's for a CT scan since they prioritize the IN patients and the results will be given right away.

He was diagnosed with a suspicious linear fracture sa right occipital region ng kanyang cranium.

We're all so worried until now, though OK naman sya and active pa rin despite the epidural hematoma. It pains my heart to see him undergo X-rays, IV insertions and moreso the CT Scan itself cos he was anesthetized pa (GA). Haay.

Bukas may follow-up check-up sya sa Neurologist. Please pray for him mga Sis.

^sis, bakit sya nagka possible linear fracture? That is so scary. Will pray for him sis.  Pray rin to the Blessed Mother for her intercession.

According sa Nanny and the other helper, it was due to the fall from his bike pero we have a feeling na humampas his head sa toilet bowl when he was bathing.

Nakakainis, I want to blame the Nanny for leaving him alone sa bathroom pero naiisip ko naman accidents happen lalo na kung active ang baby.

Anyhow, thanks Sis and please, always tell you kid(s)'s nanny to always, always look after your kid(s). Ang hirap to be in this situation. God bless us all.

sis asa US me eh,,pero im sure meron din sa pinas nun.. sa pinas naman KAZ yung brand n gamit ni baby since..meron na sa bahay na old vaporizer...

Minsan sa takot din ng mga yaya they dont tell you that something happened na pala.  Sana maging ok baby mo.  Mahirap talaga sa puso nating mga parents yung nakikita na nahihirapan mga anak natin. sabi nga nila, when you have kids, it's like wearing your heart outside of your body the entire time. Kaya nga nag agree kami ng husband ko, pag nagpatayo na kami ng house and hindi na supervised yung mga yayas ng Mom ko, we will install CCTVs.

^^ TRUE. Ang hirap pa for me is that I am always in school-- 7AM-4PM lagi and pag-uwi I have tons of stuff to do pa. Yung other 2 girl helpers namin sinasamahan yung Nanny pag tapos na sila sa trabaho pero sabi nga nung pedia ni baby, "dapat may nagbabantay sa mga bantay".

^ I agree, lalo na kapag tiles-- it tend to get slippery lalo na pag may soap residue na sa flooring.
Nakabili kami ni Hubby yesterday, rubber mat na nilalagay sa bathroom floor, P200 lang per yard. I say it's a must sa bathroom where the kids take a bath.

Niresetahan son ko ng Ventolin 3weeks na kasi ubo niya di nawawala, clear naman daw lungs pati lalamunan.. hirap gamitin nung aerochamber with mask sa son ko kaya di ko alam kung nagagawa ko ng tama

^sis, dati ayaw din ng baby ko ng mask kaya yung pipe mismo pinapasubo ko kay baby.. mas gusto nya kasing kagat kagat nya.. although hindi masyado ok kay pedia yung ganon pero kasi walang choice kasi talagang nanlalambot sa iyak si baby pag naka mask.. as in nagwawala sya dati.. pero ngayon nasanay na kaya ok na sa mask.. ok din na sa pipe..

meron nanaman sipon baby ko ngayon... ang hirap maghanap ng oregano dito sa singapore.. gusto ko itry kay baby ko ito...

^Ay naku sis, naloka nga ako, follow up check up ng son ko kahapon, sa ibang pedia ako dinala nung nurse,nahiya naman na ako sa pedia na kaharap ko,pero sinabi ko sa kanya na pinababalik nga kami nung isang pedia kasi gusto malaman resulta sa baby ko dahil pinabigyan niya ng ventolin, sinabihan ako ng 2nd pedia na stop na ventolin kasi daw in the first place di daw kailangan ng son ko yun pati yung isang gamot pinatigil din, clear pa rin ang lungs sabi ng pedia dahil lang daw sa panahon kaya inuubo son ko.. La lang nanghinayang lang ako sa pinambili ko nung aerochamber at yung hirap na pinaggagawa namin ng son ko..

Sana tuluyan na gumaling ubo ng baby ko kakaawa kasi.

I give my son a teaspoon of honey or yung kutsara niya ang ginagamit ko. I give it to him before bedtime followed by water para ma wash out yung sugar. As much as possible use pure organic honey. Pwede mong ibigay sa kanya na puro talaga or mix it with warm water as his drink. I sometimes make a mild warm decaf tea for my son tapos I add lemon and honey to it.

Sis i-try mo muna in small amounts yung pagbibigay ng honey bago mo  damihan just to make sure your baby is not allegic.

i started giving honey to my son lately.. he's 14months old one teaspoon lang (no specific time of the day)

hindi ako pinag bentahan ng pharmacist dito ng ventolin.. need prescription pa pala.. tomorrow ako pupunta sa pedia para humingi..

nawawala na ang sipon.. ubo na lang ngayon.. started giving him oregano last night, tapos eucalyptus oil sa humidifier, tapos eucalyptus oil sa chest and back... sana naman mawala na...

@ratacutie - nakabili ka na ng vaporizer? meron sa mercury sis. 900 lang bili ko. and i also use the rhea solution for inhalation (P30). may warranty na 3 years sa kanila. let me know if wala ka mabili, i'll look around for it. very useful din sa baby ko yan.

question mga moms, bawal ba mag pahid ng alcohol sa arms and legs ni baby? sabi sa net bawal nila mainhale ang fumes pero yun kasi ang ginagawa sa akin dati ng parents ko pangpababa ng temp.

[textspeak!] ba ginagawa nyo pag may sinat si babay? i mean hindi naman 38 ang temp nya so no need to give tempra. she is still active and acts normal (walang masakit). mainit ang palad at paa nya and when you take her temp, its a bit higher than usual. mga +.3 to +.7 degrees celsius. normal kasi nya is 37.1 so naging 37.4 to 37.6.
