Ayan eto may ganitong thread. Hahaha.. Sis mitch2526 Dito rin ako kukuha ng ideas. Kami naman ni bf magkaiba kaming religion eh wala gusto magpaconvert sa amin kaya civil wedding kami sa province. Since civil wedding, less gastos na rin. Wala na nung mga may abay abay.

Ano po ba ang dapat na outfit sa civil wedding? Pwede bang hindi masyadong pa girly yung outfit?

Hi mga sissies! question lang po my bf & I were planning to have a civil wedding next year. We want to have a running themed wedding so since si bf e working sa hotel at Makati dun na namen iheheld ang wedding kaso I am a resident of Pasay tapos sya sa Quezon City. Di ba kami pdeng magpakasal sa Makati? What if dadalhin namen yung magoofficiate ng kasal namen sa Makati sa wedding venue mismo possible ba yun?

^Sis pwede kayo magpakasal anywhere dito sa Pinas. Yung marriage license ang kailangang kunin either sa Pasay(kung saan ka resident) or sa QC(kung saan resident si bf mo).

^ah i see, kapag sa judge depende sa usapan nyo sis kase alam ko sa office sila nagkakasal pero kung mapapakiusapan nyo na gawin sa venue try nyo. yung friends namin ni hubby kinasal sa bahay lang nila tapos pinapunta yung judge. kakilala kasi nila kaya napakiusapan. kung pastor naman, ayun pwedeng pwede kahit saan.

Hi mga sis! Share ko lang, we recently had our civil wedding with a solemnizing officer here in QC. Sa likod ng QC city hall lang office nila. Nasa 30 minutes yung ceremony. Kasama namin immediate family saka 3 witnesses lang. Nagsermon nang konti on marriage. May personal touch pa kasi prang iniinvolve din yung couple/parents/witnesses sa ceremony kasi may konting Q&A.

After ng ceremony, sa Adarna Food and Culture yung reception lunch namin. 15 lang kami lahat. Ni-reserve namin yung silid ng reyna function room. 15-20 ang capacity, and no additional fee as long as at least P6000 yung food order. Pero inoffer samin yung mas malaking room (20-25 capacity) na Silid ng Bituin kasi food order namin nasa P8,200, e P7500 minimum lang kelangan para sa mas malaking room.

Very nice ang table setting, fine china gamit nila saka wine glasses. Old school traditional filipino cuisine pala dito. And kelngan magpareserve 1 week before for the function room, and mafinalize yung menu 3 days before. Yung ibang meals kasi will take 2-3 days to prepare. Kinuha namin yung set menu nila (around 450-600 yung price range, they have several options). Pero nirequest namin na family style yung serving kasi baka yung iba may piling ulam lang na gusto. Very delicious from soup to dessert, lalo na yung langka fry with mango and kesong puti, and yung adobo na issprinkle mo yung tablea. Hay, dito ulit kami magdedate sa valentines. haha.

Hassle free yung wedding, and it took us less than a month to prepare. Maayos kasi kausap yung Adarna, highly recommended namin. At recommended din to ng trip advisor UK. Hindi talaga kayo mapapahiya sa guests nyo. PM nyo lang ako, may copy ako ng set menu and ala carte meals.

question lang,ina-allow kaya nila na sa reception na lang din gawin yung ceremony?

or

sa catholic wedding, pwede ba yung priest na lang pupunta sa reception para sa ceremony? orsa ibang religion lang allowed ang ganito?

^sis, sabi nung nakausap ko na wedding coordinator dina daw nag-allow ang mga priests na magkasal outside church. For civil wedding, kung may kakilala daw na judge/mayor/solemnizing officer pwede daw  reception and ceremony in one place. Pero ang judge/mayor sa office daw talaga nagkakasal from mon-fri based sa nabasa ko dito sa GT.

to those looking for S.O., usually sa munisipyo nyo may kilala sila I was referred to Aris Centeno by our local municipal hall and I did my research. According to former brides, he's good daw. we'll see

Sis, congrats! Kamusta ang civil wedding? Ako rin ikakasal pero sa August pa naman. Sa ngayon naghahanap na kami ng venue and by June siguro asikasuhin ko na ang license.

I attended this wedding where the solemnizing officer did not give a copy of the contract to the coupke right away, babalikan pa dae sa office for signature. Ang tanda ko kasi sa amin nakuha agad on the day. Naisip tuloy namin baka yung real solemnizing officer na pipirma is not the same as the one who officiated? Nakilala lang ng couple yung nag-officiate sa city hall.

av okay naman sis, he's good. naiyak nga ako during the ceremony. pati mga relatives ko na nandun. mabait sya and kahit sa office lang yung wedding namin, yung ceremony na ginawa nya nakaka touch talaga hehe! hindi na namin napaghandaan yung civil namin kasi complicated pregnancy ko. bawal nga ako tumayo ng matagal.

vainwriter sis sa akin hindi rin binigay right away pero sya yung signatory, si SO. ang pinirmahan kasi namin blank document ng marriage certificate, I guess ittype nya pa kasi info namin. we only met him the day na ng wedding mismo. there are SO's naman requiring to submit the document before the wedding day para ma-type na nila info sa pipirmahan mong MC. after 2 working days nakuha naman na namin yung registered MC saka available narin sa LCR dito samin yung CTC ng MC
