for shengen visa ba kelangan more than 6 months un validity ng passport? kasi mageexpire na pala un passport ko sa april 2010..pwede pa kaya ako magtour this october? pls answer me anyone thanks!

^Yes sis, it has to be valid for at least 6 months.

^^^ hi sis, better get a universal adaptor than rely on the hotel. as sis chinita said, you can use it for your other trips naman. i got mine at ace (or true value? i forget

basta the one beside via mare, across national, at greenbelt 1) for around 220 pesos. it has served me well in my singapore trip last year (three rectangular prongs that form a triangle) and france/netherlands trip this year (2 round prongs). good investment.

hello! I'm from gensan. My bf and i plan to have our honeymoon in europe. We are going to have a small and simple wedding but we plan to go to europe after the wedding.

I need your suggestion and inputs. We want to go to rome, paris, venice. Are there any reputable online travel agencies where we can avail of its services? Is P400,000.00 enough for everything? We are not planning to stay in five star hotels or buy any luxury goods. This has been one of my goals na before i reach the age of 30 ---makapunta na ako ng europe

if it's your first time, always best (for me) to join a tour group. you pay once for all na - food, accomodations and visits to landmarks (if need to be paid for) are inclusive. wala ka nang iisipin. just bring for your shopping.

the cheapest are the coach tours (via bus), but these are very nice coaches ha. i have personally tried Globus coach tours and I loved it! -- but there are a lot of other coach tours pa naman out there. Plus they have lots of itineraries to choose from (you can choose what countries you want to go to).

^^Anytime is the best time. Depends on what you want. If you prefer longer days, go summer. That's July and August, but it can be quite warm. For me though, I prefer either spring or fall. You still get long days and the temperature is just right.

Nice din ang winter because you have the Christmas markets. Yun lang the days are short and it can be very cold.

^^^g-gurl, mama squeak! is right. July/August is also summer vacation here so super busy ang mga vacation spots and of course, super mahal din kasi peak season siya. Best time is April/May. Di pa siya masyadong mainit.

Winter is also nice. Skiing-holiday naman.

I just submitted my schengen visa application pero matagal na akong nagbabasa and nagpaplano about Euro tour ko this November.

First euro tour ko ito and hoping na matuloy sya.

My main destination is Finland and planning to cross italy if time would permit.

I know na November is not a good month since sobrang lamig and napaka-ikli ng umaga. I really don't know what to expect. Mahina ang resistance ko sa cold weather kaya lang no choice na talaga ako kasi eto lang free time ko. I've read almost all the euro-related threads dito sa GT and I would appreciate more info.

I was able to pass by Helsinki on a month of June and it being in Scandinavia meant more than cool weather even though it was Spring-Summer already at that time. So I just can't emphasize more how cold November would be. Just dress in layers sis, start with a good pair of thermal undergarments and end with a thick wool coat. Don't forget to bring some wool scarves too! But Helsinki is such a wonderful city sis!

Figure about US$10,000 for 2 pax if joining a coach tour. This was roughly the amount I've spent on my previous tours.
This covers airfare, the tour package itself, meals, extra tours, transpo, and tips for the guide/driver.

Would be cheaper to DIY, though... But European tours are very convenient and hassle-free. Plus, you will be able to cover a a lot in a small amount of time.

So, I think 500k is very doable.

hi anyone know kung ilang buwan maaayos ang visa meron na kami travel agent nag bigay na rin siya ng form for visa kaya lang kulang pa ng 2 countries oh by the way Mediterranean cruise for 12 days 2010 either jan, feb & mar. Barcelona Spain, Civitavecchia Rome, Egypt, Greece, Turkey, Malta...(Norwegian Jade) tapos ang dami pala ng visa na kailangan namin kunin kasi yung iba is not schengen states.. Egypt, Rome, turkey & 1 of schengen states... hay excited na kaya [textspeak!] start pa lang kami mag process ng documents mga ilang buwan kaya? saka mga sis any tips for cruise.

^sis, experience ko for Schengen visa mas matagal yung appointment for interview/submission of application because the date will be based on availabilty. The issuance/processing of the visa itself usually takes 10 working days.

If I were you give it two months to work on all the visas you'll be needing for your tour.
