Thai In A Box palang na-try ko. Di ako nagsasawa sa Phad Thai & sa Seafood Red Curry. So yummy.

I was able to semi-replicate the curry at home but there's a spice that I can't put my finger on.

What thai dishes in particular would you recommend?

^Sis, Tom Yum Goong is always the signature dish of Thai restaurants. When we visited Thailand before, we embarked on a quest to see where we will have the best Tom Yum Goong. We found it in a hole in the wall in the backpacker's street...forgot the name of the street.

i've tried jatujak pa lang, ok naman their tom yum soup, mas gusto ko lang yung lutong bahay na tom yum soup =p (we buy the tom yum paste at Megamall's supermarket)

then starting last week i think, every tuesday nasa cafeteria namin ang jatujak, i tried yung bagoong rice (topped with shredded green mango and onion and bagoong with pork) plus chicken pandan, ok na combo!

may review din si anton ng jatujak in moa.

p.s.

didn't know na 130+ pala yung bagoong rice, when i bought it in our cafeteria, it's just 60 bucks and 60 rin yung chicken pandan. =p

we also always get their squid with basil, shrimp cakes, catfish salad, pad thai, curry dishes.

Som's is located near Rockwell, along the side street where Grilla is. It's like a house lang.

Jatujak @ MOA

waaaahhhh...kumain kame dito kagabi ni hubby although ok naman at mamababait yung ng serve sa amin kaso:

yung Thai Milk Tea matabang, nung una kala ko mukhang ok kasi malaki at mukhang yummy kaso matabang talaga ang lasa, hinahanap ko kasi yung lasa na natikman ko nung nasa Cali ako, hindi paren pala talaga...yung Tea nila na red color na tig P40, tabang den...

yung Pad Thai nung unang taste ko masarap, kaso nung maka-ilan subo na ako hindi ko na maubos, bigla akong naumay...

masarap talaga yung Satay Chiken nila...dun naman medyo bumawi, sayang nga lang hindi kame naka order ng Bagoon Rice mas masarap pa siguro....

Som's also has a branch in front of Mandaluyong CIty Hall, sa may Circle.

Ate in the Mandaluyong branch a couple of days ago, food is still super yummy! shrimp tom yum and red beef curry!

i like eating thai food also, been to jatujak moa palang, madlas ako dun kumain. as always ang order namin ay:
bagoong rice
pomelo salad ( forget un buong name nya)
green curry fish (sometimes replace w red curry beef)
chicken satay
thai ice tea

will try som's naman, dont know there's another thai resto in rockwell

Haven't tried Jatujak and Som's. But the former Som's in Reposo is now Chariya Thai Kitchen...a lot of people who have eaten in Som's say that Chariya is better.

som's and people's palace are the best ones i've tried!

soms is reasonably priced. people's palace a bit more pricey but worth it.

i used to eat at oody's xpress in glorietta or market! market! kaso nagsara na pareho.

i liked the pad siew, chicken with young corn & bamboo shoots, chicken pandan, chicken and pork satay, bagoong rice, spring rolls, thai halo-halo and the pandan juice.

^In Thailand you have the option to sweeten or spice it up, they provide a small amount of sugar and chili flakes
