Well ako naman yung mga past relationship ko halos lahat mas old sakin. Then yung pinaka old is 48 tapos 23 lang ako nuon. :P

So ngayon same age lang kami ng BF ko. Mas komportable at masaya ako!  ;)

If you're in your teens and 20s, an age gap of 10+yrs seems to be odd. But once you reach 35yo and up, a 5-15yr age gap is just right. This is just my pov.

Ang importante, magkasundo kayo ng wavelength. Ang nangyayari kasi, if the girl is still immature, tendency is ma-out of place lang sya when she joins his circle. Very awkward. Tapos kung bolero at manloloko pa ang guy (marami nyan), ang mangyayari is the girl will just be taken advantaged of, tapos iiwan nalang later. The other problem I see is if you are not of the same level of experience or maturity, the guy may find you boring outside of bed.

Kung biglang naglalahong parang bula o biglang susulpot at mawawala, I guarantee you, 95% chance, he is really busy... busy with other women in his life.

I only started dating when I turned 40yo (late bloomer). Yes gurang nako compared sa age ninyo. :P But I've dated men that are in their late 30s, 40s and 50s. And there is one common denominator, if he is really into you, kahit pa 50yo na sya, he will text and call you unendlessly. Kahit pa gaano sya ka busy. That's a fact. Kahit pa immature na bata, he can also miss texting you at may ibang pinagkakaabalahan. Yung mga guys na nawawala wala at ayaw na tinatanong mo kung san sya galing at sa mga nawawala ng di mo ma explain, 95% chance may tinatago sila.

One thing I notticed though, divorced/separated men are more mature/patient in general. Once they're sincere, they are better in handling relationships, communicating their needs and making you feel more loved. Siguro dahil sa pinagdaanan nilang heartaches and disappointments. Kaya may advantage din ang older men.

One thing I also look for in them is if they are physically fit. Obviously, may sis nagsabi na mas shorter pa lifespan ng guys. It is important na health conscious sila for you 2 to enjoy more places together and kung magkatuluyan kayo, better sex life as well.

Kaya girls, just be open, di mo alam baka ang true love mo ay 5yrs up pala ang tanda sayo. But also maging makilatis and determine his sincerity before allowing yourself to fall hard.

Older and wiser.

And to quote,

"Men are like wine - some turn to vinegar, but the best improve with age."

of course you know that saying.
It's just a matter of what the woman does with aging.

This is my first time to be in a relationship with someone older than me, usually kasi same age. However, i may say that this relationship is the best! My hubby's 9 years older, pero we get along just fine. Sabi nga ng friends ko, hindi halatang older sya sakin, bumata daw sya tignan. ;)

for me there's no problem talaga in dating an older guy as long as you have same likes and like what our other sisses have mentioned, same wavelength. mas nauuna mag mature kasi ang babae than sa guys so nasasabayan at some point. ang no-no lang dito is kung legally attached pa yung guy.

another issue here is how other people see the relationship. alam mo yun, grabe magcomment yung ibang tao kasi obvious yung age gap or feeling nung iba she's too young for the guy. pero sa loob ng relationship, wala naman talagang problema. lalo na dito sa atin na medyo close society sa may-december relationships eh well in fact sa ibang countries may mga ganun. just my povs :)

well - i guess age doesn't matter lalo na if you really love your partner.
just make sure that you only fall for those single guys/girls to avoid complications in your relationship :)

one of my girl friend ang bf niya almost 20 years our senior. the guy is very cool. foreigner siya and nakakatuwa kausap. very rich pero down to earth and goofy. walang dull moments.

i think depende sa babae. and kung yung guy ok talaga why not. older guys know how to treat women. they are better lovers kasi alam nila ang gusto ng babae. they literally will sweep you off your feet. ganon kasi ginawa niya sa friend ko. and he won us over too kaya boto kame sa kanya.

as long as the guy is decent and has good intentions go for it. huwag lang yung mga sleezy at DOM ang dating. madami din kasing ganyang older men.

I have aunts who married older men and  the daughters of one aunt have followed suit. One married while the youngest trumped them all by dating  a guy 20+ years her senior. The one thing that her mom told her is "remember you might only have 20 years left with him if you marry." The aunts have both burried their husbands and gagawan na namin ng profile sa ourtime.com hehe. Di naman mukhang amoy moth balls pa si tatang and he's most likely keeping his health in check. I just see the gap in them kahit na ba she's in her 30's it's her life experience vs. his but then again I guess that's what works.

The one I can't stand lang are the older men who try to play it cool and  say they're 44 eh pag tingin mo palang sa kanila parang na WWII ang looks. I respect Veterans and older men in a lolo kind of way pero thats  just too wide of a gap to be involved with one. Most older men especially foreigners can be too set in their ways the women would need a lot of adjusting to do. I encountered one guy who was probably 60. He  bragged na his gf's were  mostly 20 year olds and that he broke up with them all, kesyo his grandfather had an 18yo wife. That's just way too warped ano yun sport fishing pang catch and release lang ang mga babae. Disturbing.

I've always preferred dating older men but not those who are old enough to be my dad or grandpa. Pero kung si Bruce Willis, go! ;D
