Dati when i was in college, i wanted my thesis to be abut chatting and EBs, so i totally immersed myself into this group (remember when you can create groups in yahoo chat), hanggang sa sumasama na ako sa mga EBs. yung strategy ko (since mag-isa lang naman ako) was to be the bunso of the group. so they were all treating me as the bunso, so i was off-limits. tapos sa EB, mag-isa ako pumupunta tapos gulat na gulat silang lahat sa aking kagandahan. LOL* pero no one dared make "karir" kasi nga, little sister ako.

i made many friends there (til now). outside of that group, i chatted and met with some. (napaka-wild ko nung college) pero yun nga, safe place parati, at hindi ako nagpapahatid pauwi. tipong independent ka dapat, and i always pay for my own drink.

re foreigners, may friend ako super tagal na naman friends pero you just have to make sure alam nya na hindi ka bastusin at friends lang talaga. sometimes naman, tinotopak ako and flirt with some (practice ng flirting skills), pero i still think nothing beats the real thing.

i met hubby online pero hindi naman sa chat. member kami ng isang group sa yahoogroups. tapos ayun naging textmates then later on bf/gf. we were bf/gf for more than 5yrs and now we're married for 3mos na and have a baby girl.

all the stories here are quite nice, I suppose maswerte lang mga taga GT or sensible na din, dapat naman talaga maingat. Yes I alos hear stories but they are mostly of other people, wala namang frist hand na horror story. There are so many ways na kasi to check the other person, like friendsterm], chat muna or phone muna or text or checkmo mga post nya sa forum, one of you said important ang spark so I think, that is one thing din. Dapat may magic, at willing ang both parties undi mawawalang ng excitement

i told myself i'll never meet someone who i met on the net dahel takot ako.. then came this guy na sobrang gaan ng feeling ko pag kausap ko sa fone that it came to the extent we called each other 'bez'.. after 3 years of just talking about anything and everything, i finally agreed to meet up wit him.. but i still tagged my friends along.. he turned out to be a good-looking guy, hawig nga ni brandon boyd ang loko.. then yun, continous paren ang babaran sa fone, then came the texting era so magkatext naren kame.. ciempre [textspeak!] maiiwasan ang flirting.. but i considered it harmless kase we see each other as bestfriends nga.. there are times na pag lasing (there's that excuse) cia, he tells me that he loves me, churva ek ek.. and then he'll act as if nothing happend the day after.. it went on for a year making me grow tired of all the rollercoasting melodrama, bec yes, i fell for him too.. when i met my bf, he started acting weird and all of a sudden, he said he'd wanted me to let go of my bf and be with him instead.. i chose my bf and we kinda parted ways.. although i know our communication's still open.. he has a gf now and a kid.. and me and bf's still going strong for 5years na..

Natawa naman ako dito. hahahaha I never did go out with any one i met online. LOL..

Pero this reminded me of my 2 HS friends. na naki-pag meet sa SM North. LOL So funny. When they saw a guy that fits the description. Umuwi na sila. Di sila lumapit. Bad noh? hahahahaha....(panget dw kasi)

well nasa tao naman talaga yun. it's a bit risky. lalo na sa ginawa ko, i'm in a foreign country then i met someone na complete stranger but i'm so happy that i met him. he helped me adjust. siguro kung di ko siya nakilala, matagal na ko umuwi. hahaha! exaj!

i did... met him thru mirc din... i was in HS when i started chatting with him, so when i got into college, we decided to meet. hesitant ako kasi long before we met, nagpaparamdam na sya. but di ako interested, e naisip ko it was just a simple EB. i tagged 4 friends along. 2 guys at 2 girls sa SM manila before our PE class (it's near SM, dumaan muna kami for the EB). when i texted him that i was already at the mall, i asked where he was exactly and the color of his shirt. nung nakita na namin sya, lalo ako nag-hesitate... pati mga friends ko nagtawanan and di ma-explain kung paano magrereact. in short, sobrang nagburst yung bubbles namin. i just made the meeting quick. nagpalusot na lang ako. but when we left, lahat kami may comment. nasundan pa yun but still, friendship's just what i can offer.

i had to stop kasi scary na. masyado na ata sya nag-fall, with me, having no intentions of wanting to catch him fall. sobrang scary pala talaga ng mga EB na yan... i am never going to do it again... laughtrip na lang when i remember. haha!

EB lang na hindi nasusundan.. although may isa akong kachat na medyo na-fall sa akin eh kayo di ko siya feel eh.. pero may communication pa rin kami.
