Pwede sa poolside ng condo basta may pool so the girls can swim too, ask mo muna the management para makapag-coordinate ka :)

^Actually, an all-out shower is not a requirement or a necessity -- it's just to spend time with the bride before her wedding day, so a simple lunch will do :)  Maybe an afternoon in a friend's house, with chips and drinks?  It does not have to be expensive.

^^one of the bridal showers i threw for a friend was sponsored by the bride's future hubby.  :) though friends chip in by bringing food, gifts for the bride-to-be etc.  ;)

i think close friends of the bride should be the ones planning the bridal shower.  :)

ang cute naman ng VC room!  ;D

2 years ago, we rented a room from astoria plaza for my friend's surprise bridal shower. it has a big living room and 2 bedrooms (dun na kami nag overnight ng mga nag organize ng shower) since there were a lot of guests, around 30 i think. we had dinner first downstairs sa resto ng astoria plaza, then umakyat nalang lahat for the games, stripper etc.  ;D

last year, we threw a sparty naman. surprise rin. everyone had dinner first at a resto, then we proceed to california nails and spa.  :D wawa lang nga yung 2 preggy na guests, they can't stay coz super lakas ng amoy ng place. parang alcohol/nail polish/acetone smell.  :( we totally didn't expect it.

Wow! Ang astig naman ng Austin Powers-themed room! Type ko rin ang Moulin Rouge! So fab!

Just wanna share that I attended a bridal shower in Citadel Inn sa Makati Ave. The party went really loud and the pissed neighbors had to knock a couple times in attempt to clam us up. I have no idea how much it costs there pero affordable daw. Ang KJ lang ng people outside. ;D

austin powers is the most popular theme yata.  :)

hi valerieganda, cutie ng room... magkano po ito?

i already posted the rate, here:

^that's 7500, 15 pax... 3500 consumable food and drinks.

by the way, kung may kilala kayong manager, 6K na lang sya, 1500 discount.

i also had my bridal shower at the austin power themed room! my friends were in retro costumes with matching afro wig. they also gave me an afro wig to wear throughout the party.
my friends availed of the package. i think this is really sulit kung madami naman kayo maghahati.

sa isang friend ko naman we had the party at BSA tower in legaspi st. makati yung. reasonable naman ang price we got for a 3 bedroom suite. the room was spacious.

It's been customary for the maid of honor to initiate the preparations for the bridal shower, in the same way that it's customary for the best man to plan the bachelor party for the groom. In the first place, they wouldn't have been given that position if they weren't the bride's or the groom's closest friend. So I think it's only logical that they plan the party.

it's the maid of honor's duty to initiate preparations with some help from the other members of the entourage.  when my best friend got married, i shouldered most of the expenses with the other members of the entourage contributing an amount we all agreed on.  the guests who were all our friends were nice enough to bring food and alcohol.

ang mahal naman ng theme room ng VC! my friends and i are planning for the bridal shower this september. last year kasi we held it in a friend's resthouse, eh baka sabihin naman ng friend namin na isa dun na naman gagawin yung shower niya.. wala bang mas mababa sa 7500 kasi mga konti lang kami magsha-share sa expenses eh...

TIA!ü
