Sis sino may long hair chihuahua na female na willing na magbreed? Ang tagal na kasi namin naghahanap ng mate para sa long hair chihuahua namin hanggang ngayon wala pa rin.

does anyone know where or how i can train my chi to behave or be well mannered? he's a teacup long hair chi (3years old) na super grumpy when may other people and i hate it. lahat ng tao wants to touch him kase na cucutan which is fine with me kaso nag growl agad pag call ng name niya wala pa man din yung actual touch nung mga tao, nakakahiya   my shih-tzu's are super friendly si chi lang may attitude. i'm super sad kase feeling ko galit sha sa mga tao. exposed naman sha the same way as my tzu's but never naman sha nag bite just growl.
what i do is i just don't show him if may gusto humawak sakanya like sa back side niya di niya kita wag lang sa face. kaso i just want him to be friendly talaga kase hirap niya iwanan sa ibang tao if wala ako galit sha sa lahat.

Hi Mga sis! Pasali!

First time owner of chi here and first time din mag small breed. Normally large breeds inaalagaan namin. Anyway, my chi is now 6 months old. Nakuha namin sya when he was 3 months pa lang. As of now, he knows few tricks like sit and lie down. Currently I'm teaching him naman how to stay and roll over. He also knows to poo and pee sa cage nya. At first mahirap talaga turuan kaya patience is a must when teaching your chi pets and don't forget to give some treats kapag nagawa nya agad yung mga tricks na pinapagawa nyo and basic hand signs. Para alam nya agad ang gagawin everytime na makita nya yung hand signal nyo.

One of their characteristics pala is sobrang seloso and protective. Pero in my case, nilalabas ko lang sya lagi para matuto maki-mingle sa mga tao and other animals. Super sweet din sya nung nagkasakit ako andun lang sya sa tabi ko the whole day para bang nararamdaman din nya na i am not feeling well that day. Then, every morning taga gising ko sya (katabi kasi namin sya magsleep) he knows what time ako gigisingin. 

I'm planning to get another chi this time girl naman.

Hi everyone. I have a long haired chihuahua. I love her very much. Nag woworry lang ako kasi may bukol sa may tummy niya. kung saan k-cut yung cord. Yung pinagroom ko siya sabi ng groomer na papaopera daw dapat yun. I will visit my vet soon about this one kasi balak ko na siya ipastud sa next mens niya. Anyone na may ganitong situation?

its been a year since my last post and my chi is already 14mos i was wondering if she's ready to breed? madalas ako nakakakita ng blood dun sa tulugan nya. i think my chi is deer head pwede ba syang ibreed sa long haired?

I can no longer reply to the old thread so I started with a new topic. I just want to ask how to deal with chihuahuas with shedding fur. I have three chihuahuas, 2 male (6 years old and his son is 4 years old) and 1 female (the mother, 5 years). The female gave birth (sadly the puppy came out dead) last May. I noticed she's experiencing excessive shedding. One of my male chihuahua is also experiencing it.

I can't point out the culprit because recently I added something on their food intake. Two weeks ago, I started giving them Vitamin E and Fish oil (human vitamins) then I also used Our Dog tea tree oil shampoo. Last week I started brushing their coat using my old brush then I found out there were too many furs in the brush. My female's coat is getting thinner and some parts are so thin that I can see her skin. By the way their dog food is vitality classic and sometimes my grandfather is feeding them pandesal every morning. We also feed them cooked foods like kalabasa, baguio beans and meat.

Any suggestions what should I do? Thanks in advance.

Hi sis rlin... Ganyan din yung chi ko. May season sila na malakas magshed. At first natakot din ako pero nagbasa basa ako sabi normal naman daw yun sa kanila. Parang 2-3 times per year sila nagsheshed. So far okay naman yung chi ko ngayon.

Yes dear oh my super delayed reply so I hope you can still read my post here because I'm looking for a female long hair chihuahua who is willing na i-mate sa dog ko na male long hair chihuahua. It's so hard to find one here in Manila and so far 2 people are not interested na meron sadly.

our long hair chi is more than a year old, hindi pa sya nagka mens.  kailan ba dapat sya magkaron? i asked the vet and hindi naman sya nagsabi if there's anything to worry about.

meron kase silent mens for the dogs...i am not a vet pero un ang nasabi sakin before if you have a male dog nearby you will know if your pet is in heat kase the male dog no matter what breed will be suddenly so attracted and willing to DO something to your female chihuahua  hehe.. instinct ng male dogs.
