My hubby hates anything sappy and mainstream so for our wedding, he made a compilation of very nice acoustic, alternative songs (we had about 85 songs!) which we played in our beach reception (Dos Palmas).  Our guests loved it and even asked for copies of our wedding soundtrack Kakaiba kasi sa pandinig nila hehe. 

But anyway, our main song is I'm Yours by Jason Mraz (na nakakainis kasi biglang naging mainstream at theme song pa ng isang Koreanovela ngayon!) and our all time favorites Banana Pancakes and Better Together by Jack Johnson   His only concession to mainstream music was I Couldn't Ask for More by Edwin McCain and High by James Blunt (na pinagbigyan nyan lang ako). 

Siguro kung di masyadong non-traditional ang wedding, you can go for I Couldn't Ask for More.  Beautiful melody, beautiful lyrics.  Up to now, I get butterflies in my stomach hearing it

^^Haha, narinig mo sa Ch2 no? Hehe   Super nice siya no? It was really perfect for our beach reception, yung beat niya and I love the lyrics too.  If you watch the MTV on youtube, walang rele sa lyrics pero syempre beach ang setting  

Yes, we had the reception at Dos Palmas in Puerto Princesa, Palawan   Yung ceremony kasi kailangan sa church so we had it in the city.

Yes, 85 songs!  Pero alam mo yun, hindi naman siya lahat love songs.  Ni hindi ko na nga inintindi ang mga lyrics haha... basta pinakinig niya sa akin sa iPod tapos skip skip lang ako pag di ko type ang tono, ganun.  Haha.  San ka ba sis?  If you're in Makati, I can give you a DVD of the songs (di kasya sa 1 CD).  Even if you can't use it for your wedding (or whatever occasion), it makes for good listening.  Refreshing, because it's nice and you don't hear it everywhere.  Sample artists are Jack Johnson, Ben Harper, Amos Lee, Frou Frou, Alana Davis basta mga ganung di ko rin kilala hehe   Dami kong friends nagpa-burn ng copy
