I'll be going to NY this coming Sunday and I still have not prepared anything

How's the weather there? Is it ok to wear normal blouses/shirts then just put a jacket on? Any tips for a first-timer like me? (what to bring, must-see places..) TIA sisses!

Will be visiting NYC this coming mid May for just for 2 days.

Any suggestions on where to go? Trip mainly for sightseeing. Been to Liberty during my first trip already so that's off the list. Shopping & musicals can be deleted in my itenerary this time as well.

been here since may 2, magulo ang weather. in the afternoon sobrang sikat ng araw, mahapdi but napakalamig ng hangin. sarap lang walkathon di mo mapapansin yung haba ng lakad and with the subway, every place is accessible.

i'll be flying to virginia next wed, napuntahan ko na time square, rockefeller, empire state and everything manhattan. yesterday we were at the central park zoo, 5th ave and lexington. tom sched namin to go to the statue of liberty. any other suggestion of places we shouldn't miss bago kami punta ng suburbs? thanks in advance sisses!

^ Get out to the other boroughs. New York City isn't just Manhattan. There's a lot more to the city than just that one borough.

^ I'm a Research Technician, sis. Quite honestly, I have no idea what it's like for foreign grads to find a job here. It's really just a tough market in general, but I say give it the ol' college try anyway, you never know

it is my 2nd visit to ny next month but i wanna drop by niagara this time. anyone can give some tips on this plan? what bus to take? do i have to stay in a hotel there? ty

^^From NY City, its around 7-8 hrs drive. But you can take the greyhound bus at Port Authority in Manhattan. If you plan to stay overnight, there are many hotels near the falls both in the US and Canada side. I cant really speak much of the hotels in the US side, but in the Canadian side, there are 5star hotels as well as budget hotel/inn just walking distance to the falls. If you have a valid Canadian Tourist Visa, you can just walk to cross the other side using Rainbow Bridge entrance or maybe a taxi can bring you to cross the border.

On the US side, meron Niagra falls gorge trail. Then there's the Niagara Falls state park. Ride maid of the mist, then go down the falls (bibigyan kayo ng raincoat and slippers - wala nito sa Canada side). Maganda din picnic sites in the US side.

On the Canadian side, there's the Falls View Casino (masarap buffet dito), Skylon Tower (meron resto on top of the tower), Clifton Hills (fun street), Marineland, Butterfly garden. Maganda ang view ng falls on this side.

Fall season na ang October. Expect na medyo chilly na lalo na umaga and hapon. Outfit? Hmm, I would suggest mga light coats, or layering para you can add and discard clothes depende sa weather. Dami na din nakaboots that time.
