i will be good in school.. i will read a lot, study hard and make my way to the top.. will go to  UP or ateneo.. will be in corporate world, be one of the highest paying executives.. will be making lots of money.

but i realized that everything happens for a reason.. and i love my life inspite of my shoulda- coulda-woulda's.

Kinulit kulit ko, peste peste my mom to leave my father and relocate all of us kids with her in the US.
(He had a mistress but came home every night,  and did not neglect us financially -- but still the tension!  and my mom was living an extended run of misery)


The US kasi is where there are less societal expectations
(so what if we have  a broken home, or so what if aminin to the world he has a mistress -- eh ang daming nakakaalam pretend ka pa!)
and hindi na makikialam relatives/extended families sa patakbo ng family namin.
