i like Sony better.  it may be a bit more expensive, but i think it's worth it.

nice topic ito. well, yung sinasabi nyong matagal na like sony and likes are made noon pa. siguro dati maganda ang ginawa nila pero now, ndi na. compare the pictures between sony, lg, philips, jvc, tcl, sharp and other brands. if you would notice, hindi na ganun kaganda ang picture quality ng sony.

we've been using sharp for more than 10 years na. naisra lang sya last month. pano sira? namamatay sya ng kusa. i opened it and napansin na hinang lang ang problem. konting hinang, oks na sya. pero i still called the technician for professional check, ok na daw. pero sabi nya mahina na picture tube. siguro oks na yung 10 years na kakagamit at laging nililipat. am a really tv user meaning , if i dont like the program, i will switch to another channel, and if commercial, switch to another one. basta ganun.

then i asked my friend na nagwork dati sa sony, then worked for philips then now samsung, (kaya nga ako natuto na magbukas ng TV at mag troubleshoot, because he taught me)

ang picture tube ng sharp is made in japan, yung ibang parts are from malaysia and thailand na.

nung nagwowork pa sya sa sony, yung picture tube is also made in japan daw pero parts are from taiwan na daw especially ICs.

yung samsung naman daw, picture tube is made in japan and parts are from malaysia.

pero para daw sa kanya, the best and picture quality ng LG. picture tube and ICs are made in japan.

tcl are mostly made in japan pero kilala ito sa states.

given the above scenario, now am thinking, which is the best or maybe the better tv to invest to.

regardless of the brands, if you have the budget, better invest on plasma/lcd tv's. sad to say that faced out na ang CRT tv's sa ibang countries. im really disappointed since i just bought a flat CRT tv last year.

We use Samsung, Philips, and TLC at home. Ok quality nilang lahat!

When we first bought our TLC, di ako masyadong confident. Si hubby ang may gusto kasi introductory price sya that time. After buying, na-realize namin na wala palang "review" yung remote. So we can't return to the previous channel in one click. Other models have "review" button though. We can't even use a universal remote control dahil exclusive ang remote control nya! Now our TLC is already 5 years ago, maganda pa rin.

i thought mas malakas sa kuryente yung sony kesa sa panasonic? and yung sony 125 channel lang..panasonic's 181.. hindi ba maganda durability & quality ng panasonic? yun sana plan naming bilhin eh..

for me toshiba have one in my room matibay naman moms tv is philips flat ok rin Smiley yung sa bro ko nasira agad hehe never heard ang brand
