For those who want to buy Le Creuset, there are gift sets offered on its US online shop and a free pan if you reach the minimum amount required. I got a set and a free skillet!  :)

We started out with Tefal nonstick pans when we got married because I thought these were going to be the easiest to clean but as consistent with online reviews you can only use these for a year before the teflon coating gets into your food. At that point, it also becomes a horror to clean especially after frying and you can't get it all off without getting some of the coating off. Tapos the food sticks na when you fry kasi there's no more coating in the center.

So now we switched to stainless steel pans, top choices were All Clad and Demeyer, purchased from Surla Table in Vegas. Get the heavy ones because they are thicker. 5 or 7 layers ata yung amin. Super easy to clean off after cooking. Very happy :)

Le Creuset is the best!  Mahal sya pero sobrang sulit!  I bought it their outlet store in the US.  I asked the sales person if it's worth it & kung narinig ng customer yung tanning ko, sya ang sumagot.  She said that she uses it everyday...  Mas masarap nga ang luto ko if i use le creuset.  & faster cooking time.  Downside is ang hiram hugasan since mabigat sya.

I just recently changed my pots and pans and bought a set, brand is Demeyere 5ply which is entirely made in Belgium. It is from the same company that manufactures Zwilling J.A. Henckels and Staub cookware and kitchenware. Initially, I thought of buying Henckles or All Clad but made some research since I will be using these pots/pans everyday so it will be worth the investment.

Happy naman ako since aesthetically maganda and even ang distribution ng heat mas madaling magluto, medyo mabigat lang.

Next month I would like to buy staub round and oval cocotte. Cant decide yet on the color, either red, yellow, or orange.

We use Calphalon but our dream set is All Clad. Kahit hindi copper. But oh so pricey! Need to save for it.

Bought Saladmaster Electric Skillet, still thinking if i will upgrade to personal. Honestly namamahalan ako, pero quality and health benefit wise ang kino-consider ko.  Hubby wanted to get set na nga agad but im trying to check other brands sana, like i'll get SM skillet then Hammer Stahl cookware naman made of 316ti steel din and not so expensive compared to SM.

Does anyone tried or heard about Hammer Stahl?

re Saladmaster: yung set ng parents ko was I think from the 80s pa, from bata ako til now na may anak na ako, buhay pa rin. so far nireplace lang namin yung handles, and it has to be ordered from the US. but the actual pans, except for some burn stains sometimes, bumabalik sa dating shine after kuskos, and halos wala pa ring pinagbago. ni wala ring yupi or anything.

re frying pans: we were discouraged to get teflon ones long time ago, so i got some cheapo ceramic-coated ones. ok na rin. hindi naman sobrang naninikit ang piniprito, and walang nagpi-peel off na kahit ano. rm100 for a set of 3 with different sizes, i bought from Groupon probably 4 years ago. til now gamit pa rin namin.

The last few years, I  was obsessed with cast iron pans.  I tried four brands of cocottes/dutch ovens:

Staub (France) : metal handle, black enamel inside
Le Creuset (France): metal handle (signature line, yung ibang lines plastic ang handle), light enamel inside
GSW (Germany)  Enameled Cast Iron handle, light enamel inside
Sola (Netherlands)  Metal handle, black enamel inside

Inaabangan ko talaga ang summer and winter sales dito sa EU to buy my pans, as the discounts are almost 50% during the sales.

For me, Staub is the best! Next is GSW, third ang Le Creuset (don't use Le Creuset for frying if you don't want stains on the enamel!), and last ang Sola. Yung sola, pwede na  na starter use, maayos naman, at ang price nya is 60% cheaper than Staub/Le Creuset. Di lang ako natuwa sa handle nya kasi madaling magloose, so kelangan mo na naman iscrew.

Pricewise, most value for money ang GSW. About 30% cheaper thank Staub/Le Creuset, but almost same quality.  Le Creuset, okay, naman, sya yung may pinakamagagandang colors, but ayoko lang na mas alagain sya sa Staub. So between Le Creuset and Staub, Staub forever! haha!

I have a medium Staub cocotte and also a frying pan - chose this brand for easy maintenance. I like le cresuset specially the colors but since its light colored enamel inside, the tendency is to stain, and baka magasgas if hindi careful sa paglininis.

Agree sis on SM being madaling linisan. Compared to my cuisanart every time nagpafry ako may stain agad at hirap kuskusin unlike SM babad lang okay na ulit. Wala rin akong nakikitang yellow stain pag nagpafry ako.

Going back to Hammer Stahl or Heritage Steel, i?ve heard same quality lang sila ng SM mas cheaper lang dahil no middleman involve, only problem is sa US pa kasi nabibili at di pa available din sa pinas
