When we really love or care for someone, sometimes we need to sacrifice our own interest to preserve the relationship. What's the biggest sacrifice you've ever made for the sake of friendship?

A college ?good? friend of mine needed me when she and her then BF found out that they?re having a baby, but the baby daddy does not want to have anything to do with them. She?s been crying and scared and her mom doesn?t know, she begged me to come to her and be there for her. It was the day of my civil service exam which my mom had to borrow money to pay for. I skipped it and went to her, risking my mom?s ire and disappointment. The following year, I was short some cash, needed to borrow money for fare the day before sweldo so I texted her. Never responded to me, not even a sorry can?t lend you anything.
Fast forward to a few years later, I took my CPA board exam and passed, got better jobs and friends along the way, and is now settled in the US. Got a FB friend request from her, accepted it, then got a message from her asking for a favor. Takot akong I-open: alam na this! Lol!
