Want to buy a bag but afraid of custom tax!

Hi all! I?ve been wanting to buy a bag from Polene Paris pero still hesitating because of customs duty/tax. They ship door to door via DHL naman daw. Has anyone tried ordering online sa ibang bansa? Super hassle ba ng customs?

Not a bag, but I was given an iPhone from the US, 6 years ago . Door to door sya but I had to pay 4K for custom fee/ tax! Nakakainis nga di ako aware at di aware ang nagpadala na ganun pala.

Same with my sister when they ordered medicine from the US, sabi wala daw tao sa bahay nila when the courier arrived (not true, kasi stay at home sya and she doesnt really go out). So ending, pumunta pa sila post office to pick it up and pay for custom fee/ tax na mas mahal pa sa medicine. I dont know this if this is the same for bags delivered by DHL to Manila.
Kasi dito sa Sydney nagdeliver ng documents ko DHL door to door wala namang siningil.

That's strange. Usually, kapag private courier such as DHL, included na dapat yung taxes sa fees nila.

I only paid once, when i had to order sa amazon and yung seller used UPS ba yun? pero before, nung nasa pinas pa ako, i bought my kindle and had amazon deliver it to me, DHL yata ginamit nila, no more local tax na additional. kung magkano yung fees ko upon check out, yun na yon.
