Sis bridezilamnl for me kung bride nagshoulder ng ento gowns the ento has to respect the budget and kung may comments man siguro constructive to help the output (unless talagang nakakahiya suotin, e dignity naman ipagtatanggol dun!) Mas may karapatan magreklamo abt budget or design kung sila magbabayad kasi syempre financial burden yun for them... the reality is UNnecessary expense yun para sa ento. Necessary expense lang sya for the bride....so i personally think its right that the bride pays for it.

Sis annsanpedro you might not have enough time pagawa isa pa so tingin ka ng RTW. Try white label bridal and similar bridal shops may mga ok na gown doon. Cant blame you for not wanting to wear it kung di mo talaga gusto kasi syempre once ka lang ikakasal... and it will be in all your pics.

I'm still a hundred days away from D-day pero grabihan sa stress mga sis.

No coordinator - No nothing. I'm a moderately capable DIYer, so how hard can it be right?  ;)

Turns out everything is extremely hard. Back in the day wala naman coordinator keme, puro friends and family lang tumutulong nairaraos ang wedding. Sourcing and communicating with suppliers has been a challenge. Pero kinakaya pa rin, fighting!  ;D

What really irks me at the moment is meddlesome family members. We decided to throw an intimate wedding of 30 guests (YES! THIRTY! :) ) but the families have too many darned requests. I have no qualms of putting my foot down with my family, but telling this straight to H2B family is beyond challenging even - hindi ko keri mga besh!

:P ughhhhh

I feel you TheDuchessDiane  :'( 4 months pa before the wedding and parang mas na stess pa ako ngayon sa family members kesa sa mga suppliers ko.

sis @sparklingjewel at sis @shinies ,  I had a friend do another gown for me. actually, nag-offer na sya before pa na he'll do my gown daw.

Until the night before the wedding eh rumarampa pa din kami. hehe..

HIndi naman "masama ang loob" ko technically, but if feels like a red flag about things to come...

We just started preps for a Q3 wedding next year. Desktop research on venues and requirements and whatnot pa lang naman. But since magkaiba kami ng religion ni fiance, we've already agreed that we will have an ecumenical ceremony in a non-church venue.

Yun nga lang I guess I underestimated how important my family thinks  of the church venue sa wedding. Gulat ko na lang when my mom approaches me with a list of rates and requirements of nearby churches! On one hand nakakatuwa that she'd actually take that initiative and is excited on my behalf, pero on the other hand, naku, simula pa lang ito... If she does it for the church, what about the other things pa?

Medyo may iyakan between us when I told her about our decision. Even if she accepted in the end, medyo mabigat pa din sa loob when you have to let down family members like that. But omg we're just one month into planning, may ganitong drama na agad! Hahahuhu
