What's your best tip for negotiating and getting a good discount from wedding suppliers?

Some strategies I used to get some discounts from suppliers:

1. Ask nicely for a discount from their quotes/rates, i.e. haggle with a smile.
2. Let them them know your working budget for their service.
3. Offer to pay in full right away (may not be applicable to all suppliers).
4. Don't lowball.
5. Ask if the supplier has any ongoing promos, or if they are participating in any wedding fairs soon.
6. Inquire for more 'basic' packages than what is being offered. (e.g. no photo albums/pre-nup shoots for photographer-suppliers)
7. Mention that you were referred by a previous client.
