Sis, una pray that you and your hubby accept the ivf failure.  Tapos, talk to your ob and/or your ivf peeps,,, tanong ninyo ano ba nangyari, paano maiiwasan uli yun and if ever uulitin ninyo, ano pa yung idadagdag ninyong steps para maging successful naman yun.

Nung una ko kasing ivf try, kahit isang egg walang nabuo so ayun.  That was January 2005, 9th year of our marriage.

Nung second try, there was an egg and it was implanted to me, but failed ivf sya.  That was April 2005.

Nag-usap kami ng hubby ko, and we agreed na pag failed uli yung third try, we will adopt na lang.  So for our third try, I had 3 eggs that became blastocysts, pero isa lang yung grade A.  I was implanted all three, but only 1 became Nathan on April 2006 (they were implanted August 2005), on our 10th year anniversary.

We had our 3x of ivf in Bumrungrad, Bangkok, Thailand.  Bumrungrad is the sister hospital of Asian Hospital in Alabang.  Dr. Eileen Manalo naman yung ob ko dito sa Pinas.

^Dr. Manalo is great, and very nice to look at as well :) she's always so presentable :)

kami rin, kapag maubos ang savings sa more ivf tries, mag-aadopt na lang kami :) (or a surrogate/donor in SG, since sayang ang genes ni husband haha)

@carylldax: our first ivf last March failed as well. They were a couple of grade A fresh embryos.

Allow yourself to grieve, but set a due date for your grief. Dapat after your set date (max of a month sana), mag-move on ka na.

40-50% chance of success lang naman talaga ang ivf, compared sa 2% chance of no fertility interventions at all :) masakit lang talaga na nasa unlucky 50-60% tayo :(

Life is never fair. Move on lang ng move on  ;)  fight fight fight ^_^

^maganda, si Dra Manalo, pero mas maganda yung jewelry nya he he he.  And when she's doing something to you, she sings!

Taiwan sana yung recommendation ni Dra sa akin, pero nagresearch ako and yung Thailand nga yung isa sa options.  Another is India.  Kaya lang ako nag Thailand kasi 1) wala ng visa restrictions up to 1 month 2) pwede na dito yung workup (either bilhin mo yung meds sa kanila or sa iba mo bilhin) tapos yung retrieval and implantation lang dun 3) you can choose your doctor dito and talk to him (10 years ago email lang kami nag usap) even before you go there.  Dun nagcommunicate si Dra Manalo tsaka si Dr Phattaprum Phophong (https://www.bumrungrad.com/doctors/Phattaraphum-Phophong) on the things we need to do.

hi sis! our first ivf failed last april. there were 2 blastocyts (grades A and C) transferred but have not implanted. nakakalungkot talaga and frustrating especially when you know that you have prepared well for the ivf (had several accupuncture sessions before that, checked with my immunologist, etc).

what i did was i cried hard for one whole day.  after that nag usap kmi ni hubby on what to do next. Dasal ka lang sis and know that we're here for each other. Prayers helped me move on. Now, we're preparing for our second ivf. natatakot din ako what if failed ulit, paubos na savings namin, etc...but I know God is a merciful God...

share ko lang un nabasa ko na post sa fb group: " in your storm and difficulty never lose sight of a dream God has given your heart. you may be there in the midst of the storm today, never lose sight because God will raise you up so that your life will tell the world about God's glory".

It really is never easy. Minsan mas humihirap pa. They say when you choose to do IVF, prepare to do it at least three times. My 1st IVF failed, buti na lang may 3 frozen embryos ako. Pero I already decided talaga that I will never give up!

Hi everyone, I've had 2 IVFs last year. The first one was cancelled before the ovum pickup because the eggs did not achieve my doctor's desired size. I think it's also because super low dosage ng fertility meds ko kasi takot siya sa hyperstimulation.

I tried again after 3 months. Sa Taiwan pa rin ito and super low dosage pa rin kasi I'm PCOS, although I don't know how much that matters. 7 eggs were collected but only 3 were mature and were fertilized. Tapos all 3 were of poor quality and all 3 were transferred. Surprisingly, I got a BFP but it turned out to be a blighted ovum so I had a D&C.

Super nakakalungkot but we can't give up mga sis. We're saving up for another IVF baka next year. Pahinga muna this year. As long as may eggs pa, let's try and try again. :)

Hi girls... newbie here...
How are you this 2017? I hope BFP na... I had my first FET last dec1.. unfortunately, BFN by day 10 using PT, day12 BFN using CLEARBLUE, confirmed BFN by Beta HCG zone day14... we did not do fresh cycle IVF due to fluid in my uterus on day of retrieval.. JULY un. Accdg to OB, both beautiful and perfect grade1 day 3 embryos did not implant which makes her wonder what happened....
I have perfectly normal ovaries, no other disease, DH has low spermcount which was corrected few mos after taking supplements... also we both wanted to have multiples. that?s the reason why we opted to undergo IVF... now we are thinking if overseas na [textspeak!] magpa IVF.. like in tai Chung, Taiwan?  Sana may mag open ng new thread for IVF in Taiwan next yr para may makasabay
