We got married last April so more or less napunta don lahat savings namin for 2016-2017, no regrets, since di naman kami millionaire levels, at madami kami ibang pinagkakagastusan like breadwinner ako and may payables din Husband ko. We didn't ask a penny from our parents when we got married and we are just starting our lives together as Husband and Wife, after getting married we relaxed, (nagdate, lumabas, nagparty, uminom, nagshopping , nagtravel
) and hinde kami nagpa pressure masyado sa thought ng baby, bahay, savings, investments, insurance and all, ayaw namin maoverwhelm hehe, one at a time ika nga. Ayaw namin masuklam agad-agad sa buhay may asawa haha charot!
Kidding aside, sole breadwinner kasi ako kaya huminga muna ako ng konti.
And now we are happy that we took our time, nagenjoy muna and we didn't rush everything, so 6 mos after our wedding we are very content, happy and relaxed which is a good place to begin planning. Nagstart na kami magusap and i-sort mga kailangan namin iaccomplish for 2017-2018 onwards.
1.) Clear out all our debts (credit cards, loans etc) - on going naman payments
2.) Whole life insurance - with Investments (VUL) OR Term Insurance
3.) Health/Medical Insurance (HMO features) - for me, before I get pregnant
4.) Emergency Fund/ Savings - yearly naman ako nakakapagsave, nagagamit nga lang
5.) Property (house and lot) - 15-25k a month target after DP
6.) Driving license for my Husband and Car here abroad
7.) Educational Plan for our kid/s
8.) Stocks, VUL and Mutual Fund
9.) Migration
10.) House and lot in our dream Village (200 sqm minimum)
