Anyone here diagnosed with fatty liver? What have you done to reverse it?

Me! It was the long-term effect of taking Metformin for my PCOS.

My doctor prescribed me Essential-E, a supplement for fatty liver. Bumababa naman yung SGPT and SOGT ko.

Ultimately, I had to stop my Metformin intake, because my liver cannot recover.

Now, it all depends on my lifestlye.

Long, around 2 years I think. Every 3 months, I have my blood chem to check if merong effect.

I stopped na this year since when I stopped my PCOS meds, hindi na sya tumataas. Need na lang magnormalize.

Wow! Ang tagal pala! Do you mind if I ask gano kataas SGPT mo? Mine was 144 and praning ako masyado. Just want to know how soon my liver can back to normal.. thanks sis!

Highest was 74.something. hehe! Regularly monitored kasi ako dahil sa office clinic namin.
