This is to stop the speculation of people nababalik sya for season 6. Of course, sa mga interview nya sasabihin nya na hindi na sya babalik, na yun ang alam nya. He said, 'The character is dead, thats what they told me.'  If the producers are planning for a big surprise to revive him (which i strongly believe they are) they wouldnt tell the viewers na, Yah oo babalik sya kahit pinatay na sya. Where's the surprise in there?

If we look at it storywise, its really bad storytelling if they wont revive/bring him back. He is the central character to "A song of ice and fire".We followed him from season 1 to 5, para lang mamatay sya? Na sya lang yung nakakita sa totoong antagonist ng story, mga white walker? Na hindi pa narereavel kung sino tunay nyang parents? Ithink this is the way para mawala yung katungkulan nya sa NIghts watch. If  they burn him in his funeral (just like Master Aemon) They will say something in the lines of 'And now his watch has ended'. It means wala na sya katungkulan sa NW, he can then play the game of thrones. He may even rise like Dany.

Ep7: Maester Aemon (before he died) to Jon: "Kill the boy, Jon Snow, and let the man be born."
Ep 9: Sam to Olly: "Ive been worrying about Jon for years. He always comes back."

if kit cuts his hair ala richard madden (clean-shaven and all) then dun na tayo mangamba. for now, i believe die-hard fans of the books and the show will continue to speculate how jon snow might have survived that cliffhanger. actually, i have no problem if he dies... yun nga lang, we've been too invested in knowing who his real parents are (damn that r+l=j theory!) kaya ayaw nating bumitiw sa belief that he could be azor ahai.

but then, his "death" opens up the possibilities na baka magbabalik yung mga characters na akala natin wala na... the remaining stark boys (bran & rickon) and of course, the forever-still-rowing-by-now gendry. haha!

Sa wakas, napanuod ko din. I intentionally avoided the series while it is airing kasi gusto ko tuloy2 ko syang maanuod.

Anyway, I don't understand (or I don't remember), diba and season 4 is first half pa lang ng book 4? bakit nag jump sa book 5, and there are even scenes na wala pa sa book. Ang ending nila, ending din ng book 5. Ano gagawin nila sa season 6?

Hanggang book 7 pala ang GOT. Every 4-5 years mag publish si GRRM. I think 2012 ang last (not sure), so around 2016-2017 pa. then after 5 years pa ulit. eh anlayo na ng series.

andaming na deviate from the books. Pero maganda naman pareho. I just don't like the fact na si Sansa, kawawa kahapon, kawawa ngayon, kawawa bukas. Ano ba naman yan akala ko palaban na siya sa eksena nila nung babae ni Ramsey.

OMG sis smiley22 thank you for giving me hope! haha I am positive din na mabubuhay sya ulit. Kasi na mention din sa book I think na minsan nakakapasok sya kay Ghost so either that, or binuhay sya ni Melissandre, or blood of dragon. Whatever, gusto ko lang mabuhay sya. Sarap sapakin ni Olly kainis.

Hindi na lumabas sina Bran kasi kahit sa libro yun na din ang last scene nila, nakita nila yung tree then wala pang kasunod.

Hay nako kelan pa ipublish ang book 6.

P.S bakit parang naging weak ang unsullied. Baka maging tao na ni dany yung mga dothraki.

OMG just found about this thread kaso papuno na haha kelangan na yata ng new thread. Hanggang ngayon pinag-uusapan namin ng officemates ko itong season ng GOT. Ang tagal pa ng next season!

Nagdeviate na nga yung series sa books kasi naman matagal talaga magpublis si GRRM haha. Pero ang alam ko they agreed on major plot points napag-usapan na yun, the rest yung mga small plots lang andun ang freedom ng series to change. In fairness to the series naman they are really trying their best to trim down the story to the important plot lines.

Possible spoilers ahead.

I'm also certain Jon will be resurrected. Yes for those who know the R+L theory will know his significance in the story as the prince that was promised. Even book-Melissandre saw him in the fire, altho this woman kasi medyo sablay ang interpretation ng visions. Yes the character is dead, he must be dead before he can be resurrected. For me the most probable way is for Melissandre to resurrect him, sakto andun yung red priestess sa Wall at that time. We already know the god of light can bring back people to life.

The unsullied is not weak but ang strength kasi nila is in their numbers and discipline. They're not so good in guerilla warfare.
