Final Food Tasting and Detailing with Caterer

we're having our final food tasting and detailing with the caterer soon. hoping to get your inputs on what to prepare and what to expect. any pointers, tips or reminders could really help. TIA!

Food hahha. Dapat final na talaga.
Final date, time, start time for the appetizer, main course.
Mock set up for vip and guest - flowers, linen, colors.
Inclusions (guestbook, doves, wines, hotel, cake)
Reception lay out
We dont have a separate stylist kaya we also talked about the backdrop

If you already have the final/estimated excess pax/guest
If you need extra server

So far yan sis mga nalala ko during our final food tasting which is last week lang. Haha. Hope this will help.

Mga sis normally ba me charge pag nagpasetup ka ng extra 12 seater table sa caterer? How does the buffer food work? Kasi wala pa talaga specific guests pero sabi ng mom ko mag add ng 1 table more in case me biglaang guests etc. tapos na rsvp at lahat naman nagcommit na aattend. Nahihirapan tuloy ako. Tom na ang final detailing with the caterer.

Hey yannuh - I'll ask my events manager on the number of tables set up. For the food, it depends on what was agreed with the sales rep during negos I think. With ours, the hotel said they add a 10% buffer for food prep on top of the number of guests we tell them.

On a related note to this thread also: how soon/late should food tastings be scheduled?

Is it okay to do the Final FT and detailing 2mos before the wedding? Is it too early or tama lang? My AE suggested a date for our Final FT that is 2 months from our wedding date.

^hi sis my wedding is feb but I had my final tasting oct.overseas kasi ako. Inagahan ko na kasi january ako uuwi that time.
