Fetal Heartbeat and Gender. How accurate?

Hi sisses, a friend told me that the faster the BPM of the baby during the first trimester can determine the gender of the baby. I don't have any idea if it's true. Sabi nila pag mas mabilis, girl daw. Theory nila yun ng mga relatives nya and nagkakatotoo daw! hehe. wala lang just curious kung meron ba dito na nakarinig na and kung totoo yun.

^ nothing is definite naman sis in gender determination except for an ultrasound scan but even that sometimes fail nga eh, depende sa position ni baby, sa tumitingin and how clear it is.

nabasa ko din to, about FHR and gender. si baby nung first time na regulate FHR nya, around 9wks, nasa upper end nga sya nun. every check up nya upper end sya 140bpm+ lagi. tapos gut feel ko babae even before the FHR count. basta sure lang talaga ako babae baby ko. true enough, babae nga hehe. kahit naging symptoms ko during the first trimester is sabi nila mukhang lalake daw. dami ko kasi pimples saka nag dry skin ko ng husto and nangitim  parts ng body ko.

Pa share! In my case lagi nasa 150+ hindi bumaba ever. We're having a boy. Pero lahat ng relatives and friends sinasabi girl daw kasi blooming daw ako, although my first tri was super hirap and pangit but after balik uli sa normal, mas fairer pa nga baka kasi I don't go out that often anymore, pero tummy ko rin maputi (I dont have the linea nigra) and the rest so feeling ko rin girl. Nag buy nga ako ng stuff in pinks na based on my gut feeling na girl, boy pala hehe. Although, bakit ganon, until now umaasa akong girl hehe. The time that we had my scan to determine the gender kasi ang tagal bago nakita naka cover kasi yung umbilical cord nya, in between ng legs nya then to the back sa may bottoms nya. My OB even shook my belly para gumalaw sya and pinaglakad lakad ako muna around the clinic. Then ayun, she was asking pa nga kayo ano sa tingin nyo (she was pointing at the screen and smiling) sabi ko doc I can't understand a thing hehe. Sabi nya may "turtle sign" daw (whatever that is hehe) - boy. But but most importantly healthy sya yun lang naman hehe kaso we all thought talaga girl. hehe

on my first TVS, her heartbeat was at least 160... I can't remember exactly basta 160-169 and I read nga na girl daw. Girl sya talaga

Well, sa akin, my baby's heartbeat was always above 140. So girl daw, and girl nga! Pero I don't think it's accurate, katulad rin ng other old wive's tales na naririnig natin.  There's always a 50/50 chance na maging boy or girl. Hehe. Almost all of my other symptoms pointed to having a baby boy, kaya gulat na gulat ako na biglang babae.
