Being a single mom and going back to dating
« on: March 15, 2015, 11:29:47 pm »
I don't know much about this, lalo na ang mga struggles ng mga single moms in finding "the one".
I have a friend na single mom of 2 -- at magkaibang father. Akala talaga namin the one na si last bf nya (father of 2nd baby), pero biglang waley. They broke up before baby was born (super complicated).
Naaalagaan nya naman ng maayos ang 2 kids nya. She's fine on her own.
Anyway, after 2 years, eto may bagong nanliligaw sa kanya. He's aware of her situation dahil medyo close friends naman sila. But friend si very scared, and doesn't know what to do.
Eh di ko rin alam kung ano kalakaran pag dating sa ganyan. She likes the guy too. I told friend to give it a chance, but don't rush into anything. That if he really like her he'll stick around and if he doesn't then she's betteroff without him.

So sa mga single mother, meron bang in/appropriate timing pagdating sa going back to dating? How was it? Paano ang set up with kid/s and new bf?

Im not a single mom pero I want to know lang if its harder to move on from your ex pag may anak kayo. What if he left you for another woman but he still gives financial support for your kid? Aawayin niyo ba yung girl kasi your ex chose him over you? Thanks! :)

Hi ts

Kamusta na si friend mo? Naging sila ba nung guy? As a single mom, I agree na she should take things slow muna. Its nice na matagal na silang magkakilala.. Pero she should be careful na talaga this time around, especially about birth control. Her kids should remain her top priority.. And if the guy accepts and supports that then I guess everything will be fine.. Basta wag lang sya magmadali or mag expect masyado. Sure we can always say huwag na siya mag bf and just focus on her kids.. After what happened to her 2x na.. She could do that naman.. However if the guy naman is really serious about her and really committed to make the relationship work then why not right?

^ sis OT question mo pero sagutin ko narin. I assume the ex wife(?) may feelings parin sa father of their kid.. Pero since he has a new gf na then she should accept it nalang. Masakit pero wala ng magagawa. She is actually lucky na nagbibigay parin ng financial support yung father.. And mas okay if he still spends time with the kid. Maging civil nalang sila to each other for the sake of their kid. Wag nalang aawayin coz if aawayin lang then malaki possibility na magstop yung support and maglaho nalang si lalake para wala ng gulo.. Then the wife will be left shouldering everything. At some point, be thankful nalang sa blessing na he is still being responsible as a father eventhough the two of them ended na

hi sis momentum!

I actually started a new thread for this pero di ko alam bakit andito na sya. hahaha! Anyway, hindi naman siya wife, ex-gf lang. I know it's hard to move on, wala ngang anak mahirap na e. Just want to know if everytime you see the kid, does it remind you of the ex-bf?

If may attachment pa sis yes its normal to be reminded of your ex pero once nakapag move on na, hindi na masyado.. Your focus will really just be on your kid, work, responsibilities..
