Baked Porkchops

Ingredients
6 pork chops
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon seasoning salt
2 egg, beaten
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
2 cups Italian-style seasoned bread crumbs
4 tablespoons olive oil
1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
1/2 cup milk
1/3 cup white wine

Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Rinse pork chops, pat dry, and season with garlic powder and seasoning salt to taste. Place the beaten eggs in a small bowl. Dredge the pork chops lightly in flour, dip in the egg, and coat liberally with bread crumbs.
Heat the oil in a medium skillet over medium-high heat. Fry the pork chops 5 minutes per side, or until the breading appears well browned. Transfer the chops to a 9x13 inch baking dish, and cover with foil.
Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour. While baking, combine the cream of mushroom soup, milk and white wine in a medium bowl. After the pork chops have baked for an hour, cover them with the soup mixture. Replace foil, and bake for another 30 minutes.

Recipe: Baked Lemon Pasta
Servings: 6

Ingredients
1 pound Thin Spaghetti
4 Tablespoons Salted Butter
2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
2 cloves Garlic, Minced
1 whole Lemon, Juiced And Zested
2 cups Sour Cream
1/2 teaspoon Kosher Salt, Or More To Taste
Plenty Of Grated Parmesan Cheese
Flat-leaf Parsley, Chopped
Extra Lemon Juice

Instructions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Cook spaghetti until al dente.
In a skillet, melt butter with olive oil over LOW HEAT. When butter is melted, add minced garlic. Squeeze lemon juice into the pan. Turn off heat.
Add sour cream and stir mixture together. Add lemon zest and salt. Taste, then add more salt if necessary. Pour mixture over drained spaghetti and stir together, then pour spaghetti into an oven safe dish.
Bake, covered, for 15 minutes. Then remove foil and bake for an additional 7 to 10 minutes. (Don’t bake too long or the pasta will dry out.)
When you remove it from the oven, squeeze a little more lemon juice over the top. Top generously with Parmesan cheese, then chopped parsley. Give it a final squeeze of lemon juice at the end.
Serve with crusty French bread and a simple green salad.

pizza! i tried making pizza yesterday and i'm so happy it was successful.. :D i even made another one a while ago..hehe

crust: makes 2 (10") thin crust
200g flour
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp yeast
1 tbp dried herbs (basil, parsley, etc) **i used basil**
125ml luke warm water
1 tbp oil

mix dry ingredients together and create a hole in the middle of it. pour the oil and water and knead for 5-10 mins or until the the dough is smooth and elastic. put in a slightly greased bowl (a big one) cover with a cling wrap and let it poof for 1hr. knock it down and knead a little. divide into 2 portion and make a small ball, let it rest for 10 min. flatten the dough and roll a pin to make a crust. put it in a pizza pan.

toppings: 2 major ingredients
tomato sauce
cheese
and anything that can be used as toppings found in your ref or kitchen.. :D

*put tomato sauce first then grate cheese on top of it then put the other toppings. after which, grate cheese again on top of the toppings.

Bake on a preheat oven @ 200C for 20min or until the crust is crispy.
(i used baking tray and after baking it for 20 min the center is soft so i transfered it to the grilling tray and bake for another 5 mins to make the crust crisp.)

i find it easy to do, less ingredients to work with..hehe and while making the dough rise i can make other chores and i find making homemade pizza fun because i got to choose the toppings i want to put on it.. :D
my homemade http://img708.imageshack.us/i/pizzaf.jpg/.. for the taste, i'll let the picture speak for itself..  ;D

yey! thanks for sharing sis! tagal na ako naghahanap ng pizza crust recipe na easy and tested.

Rub liempo with salt, pepper, brown sugar and calamansi. Marinade in clara ole original bbq marinade overnight (para mas malasa pero okay na rin atleast 30mins-1 hr)

Bake mo sya with the marinade tapos flip flip lang after 15-30 minutes para even.

Serve with corn and carrots! sarap :)

Sis u8mypinkcookies kumusta yung butter cake mo? Ok ba siya. Ako rin nag start pa lang into baking. Since newbie ako oven toaster muna gamit ko. I tried yesterday the maya banana cake mix. I followed lang the procedure ok naman siya. Para maiba i added diced cadbury chocolate. Super nagustuhan ko siya lalo. :)

broccoli and corn casserole

a head of broccoli about 250 grams
half cup whole kernel corn, drained (or more)
1 tbsp butter
small onion, chopped
1/2 cup milk (or more, less than a cup)
1/2 cup of any cheese - whatever cheese na nasa fridge will do :) , fave ko strong cheddar and brie
1 tbsp all purpose flour
salt and pepper to taste

for the crunchy toppings
1/2 bread crumbs - I only used stale bread for this, I used blender to make a crumb
1 tbsp butter
grated parmesan (optional)

Put broccoli florets into a baking dish. In a mixing bowl, whisk together milk and flour.
In a saucepan, melt butter. Add onion and saute until soft, gradually add the milk mixture. Whisk  and let the sauce thicken. Add the cheese and stir until melted.Add the corn and stir until coated with sauce. Pour the cheesy corn sauce over the broccoli. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. In a bowl mix melted butter, parmesan and breadcrumb. Sprinkle over the broccoli. Bake for 25 to 27 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the casserole is bubbling. Let it rest for 5-10 minutes before serving, pero sa kagaya kong hindi na makapaghintay...go...kain na agad :)

^ Hi sis, hindi ka gumamit ng mixer? Mukhang okay naman pala kahit walang ganun no? Also, gaano katagal sa oven toaster? Hindi ba siya nahilaw sa loob tapos halos sunog sa labas? Nagtry kasi ako dati sa oven toaster din, pero ganun ang kinalabasan. Ano yung oven toaster na gamit mo? Thanks!
