These are not really self-help books but I've learned a lot from Joshua Harris when it comes to dating and relationships. Gave me a new perspective about love:

The 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens by Sean Covey (his dad wrote the one for adults). I read this back in college and it really helped me a lot. I learned how to manage my time kaya walang problema sa grades kahit na every weekend eh nasa gimikan or mall. 😄  I still read this from time to time lalo na pag stressed sa work. Try ko next time yung pang-adults/working people. 😊

Im not a book lover person pero I tried reading Purpose Driven Life.  Though first few  chapters pa lang nababasa ko it made me realize that there's life after death.

I used to hate the topic of death.  Whenever i think of it all I can see is black and no once really knows what happen after death.  So ganun ko ka hate topic ng death.  It also scares me the idea of death, talagang umiiyak ako dati.  Parang fear of the unknown yung nararamdaman ko.  Pero when I read that book nawala lahat ng takot ko sa topic na yun.

I'm still reading the other chapters of the book kasi im excited sa mga lessons and realization na pwede nya sa aking maibigay.

And also another one, though this not related to faith pero I also find it helpful sa ating mga babae.  Why men loves&marry bitches.  It teaches us ladies to love ourselves.  Na huwag kalimutan ang sarili pag pumasok na sa isang relasyon.  Coz I think karamihan sa atin guilty sa ideang ganun.  I somehow see that book as my bestfriend na pinapayuhan ako on what are the right things to do in a relatonship.
