To start with, working in an electronics company is not a glitz and glamour type of job. Kelangan mo talagang mag find time to freshen up, put on a little blush just so you wouldn't appear as haggard as you really are. Because demanding yung work sa semicon. You have deadlines to beat (if you're working on a project) and you have downtime to fight (if you're working naman sa frontline). It's really a tough place for women. The advantage lang if you're a lady in a semicon, you could ask for favors from your co-workers in setting up the testers. Mas mahirap kasi if you're a male engineer trying to ask a technician to do things for you. Well, that's what my male teammates think.

Worked before in an electronics company before I entered freelancing.

Nilagay ako sa maintenance. As in maintenance engineer ako. Panlalaki talaga, ako lang ang babae. It's shifting work.

Reason: They wanted me to put in a position of leadership - kahit sa maliit na team lang ng mga technicians.

I have a love-hate relationship with the job for several reasons.

What I love:
1) The leadership opportunity. I was not born leader, but I was eager to learn how to lead.
2) Kahanga-hanga ang may babae sa maintenance. (Though di sa lahat.)
3) Doon sa past job ko na ito na-meet ang mga pinaka-admirable na boss na hinahangaan ko. Ok rin sa akin ang top management, mababait.
4) Maraming OT opportunities at shifting pa kami, kaya mas malaki ang maiuuwi.

What I didn't like:
1) Nag-assign ako sa hindi ok na boss. Siya na ang pinaka-worse boss na na-meet ko. Siya ang reason kung bakit ako umalis.
2) Too far from my kid. 3 hours away. Uuwi ako kung may mahabang day-off.
3) Dahil sa maintenance ako, may pasok sa holiday. Kami ang mahuhuling uuwi para i-OFF ang machine, at kami rin ang mauunang papasok para i-ON ang mga machine.

Nagwork ako dati as purchaser sometimes import/export staff tsaka sa payroll, almost 6years din, social worker lang ang peg  ,  japanese company, dept ko subcon ng Toshiba. Stressful na masaya ang naging experience ko dito, tingin ko depende talaga sa company. Kung gusto mo talaga, dun ka sa malalaking company ka magtry.

I used to work in an electronics company, process engineer ako. I resigned after a year.

Compared kasi sa mga kabatch ko, I have the lowest starting salary ( im not sure lang if ganun pa rin ang trend or depende talaga sa company). Saka mejo hindi stable lalo na if walang innovation masyadong offered yung company. Pag malakas sa market yung product, daming bonus pero once bumagsak may possibility pa na mag lay-off.

dati sa electronics nagtatrabaho Ate ko. naku, not to scary tho, pero haggard! ubusan oras at energy lalo pag pang gabi. i think sa mga entry level lang naman ito. yung friend namin nag resign kasi they have a new policy to work 10hrs/day kahit team leader ka pa.

Electronic company worker po ako dito sa japan..ginagawa namin mga machine na ginagamit sa banko,vending machine  at kung ano ano pa.. Makaubos ng energy grabe lalo pag ganitong buwan,mahigpit lalo 1 pag kakamali sira na ang buong machine. Stressful masaya lang pag payday na
