My absolute favorite thing from Eng Bee Tin is their radish cake! It smells a bit weird, but once it's fried – so yummy! You can dip it in ketchup, but I much prefer spicy vinegar. It might be an acquired taste, but I just love it! I got so disappointed with the radish cake from Tim Ho Wan. Eng Bee Tin's version is so much better, and you get a whole lot more of it for your money.

If you haven't cooked it before... You just slice it the same way as with tikoy, and deep-fry it until it's lightly golden. You can even make it extra crunchy if you prefer.

Had a funny yet kainis story when I first ate at their place with my friends. We didn't know that their food is for sharing pala so we ordered for each of us. Nagpancit party kami sa dami ng iba't-ibang klaseng pansit at noodles ang nakahain. Di namin napigil yung tawa namin nung dumating order namin kasi big servings, sayang di namin naubos.

Why don't they tell their customers that the food is for sharing? I think most restos ganito na din kalakaran, very rare na nakalagay sa menu na for sharing ang food or even the waiter will not tell you na for sharing pala.
