What age do you stop giving your child a bottle?

We started at 1:10 sis. We started giving him 3x bottle feeding a day at 1:6 years. Then ibang instances sippy cup na. I noticed kasi na sinisira na nya yung teats and he likes the bottle lang kapag manonood ng tv. Mas matagal nga lang nya maubos yung milk if nasa cup compared sa bottle na lessthan 10 minutes ubos na yung 9oz na milk, pero ok lang with us basta ang importante nauubos nya yung laman and he does not ask for the bottle.

My 3 year old nephew kasi nagba bottle feed pa. Based in my research as soon as magkangipin na si baby dapat stop na mag bottle feed ang mga babies.

How true ba na nakakasira ng ngipin ang pagba bottle feed?

Yung milk if nababad sa mouth, yun yung nakakasira ng teeth. Sabi ng dentist ko make sure lang na iinom ng water yung bata after drinking milk or not let the child sleep na dumedede para iwas sa pagkasira mg ngipin.

Most certainly not after a year old! SA mga puti ganyan din nakasanayan-wala na din sa formula, fresh milk na.I agree with missoni, mataas sugar content ng formula vs. fresh milk so pag nakasanayang matulog na nagbobote, prone to caries ang front teeth.I have a friend na nakasanayan niya na patulugin ang 2+ son niya with pediasure na hinaluan ng Milo, maagang nawalan ng front teeth yung bata.Dental surgery pa nga ginawa.Nasita din isa ko pang friend ng mom in law niya (na German) bakit daw at 3 nagbobote pa at formula pa ang apo niya.To those that formula feed, advise ko lang, wag gawing pampatulog ang formula at bote-kahit ano pa mangyari.Kung talagang gusto ng milk, in a cup na habang nakaupo  and nagbe-bedtime story.

may daughter is now 3 yrs old and nagbobottle pa rin siya.
She cant sleep without finishing 1 (sometimes 2) bottle of milk.
She also wakes up in the middle of the night asking for milk.
Ilang nipples na rin ang nasira nya.
Pero ngayon hindi na, kasi i told her na pag sinira nya pa yung nipples, di na siya magbobottle and sa glass na siya mag mimilk.
She brushes her teeth atleast once a day, mostly before going to sleep and that's before she takes her bottle of milk.
She also used a pacifier until she's 2 yo.

What's weird is she has a very nice set of teeth, walang sira or stain.
Maybe because we dont usually give her candies, yung matitigas.
We give her lollipops once in a while.
Chocolates most of the time pero i always tell her to brush her teeth after eating chocolate.

going back to the topic (hehe) gusto ko na rin siya i-wean sa bottle.
kasi pag wala siyang ginagawa or nagwatch lang siya ng tv at wala siyang kalaro, hingi ng hingi ng dede. baka kasi tumaba naman ng husto. mahirap na. she's 18kg na.

At 2 he still drinks from a bottle pero iba na yung nipple. Yung spout is parang sa sippy cup pero rubberized parin. At exactly 3, he completely let go of the bottles and switched to cups. Pero hindi siya sanay so kinukutsara ko pa yung milk niya hanggang maubos. At 3 and a half kaya na niyang uminom sa baso pero ang bagal. hahaha

At exactly 2 years old kaming 4 na magkakapatid stopped bottle feeding na my parents hid the bottles and pinapainom kami sa glass  before matulog

my son is 1 year and 4 months, and i'm starting to train him to wean. pakonti konti na sa glass, although yung water nya pag mealtime eh sa glass na talaga sya umiinom.

he drinks 1 bottle before going to sleep pero we make sure that he drinks water after. sanay naman sya ng water after milk.

regarding teeth, my son already ha 18 teeth. ok naman lahat. we brush twice a day. no candies and chocolates.

My daughter is 2.10 years old and she still takes a few bottles of milk whenever she sleeps. This is why despite being toilet trained, we still have to put nappies whenever she sleeps. My husband and I have been telling her for the past couple of weeks that when she turns 3 years old this September, she will have to stop drinking from the bottle already. With the 14 bottles that we have, 5 are already 'retired' cus nasira yung nipples and we didnt buy new ones anymore. Now, whenever we remind her about the bottle ultimatum, she gets emotional and she cries but I know that it's a good way of conditioning her na din.

Regarding her teeth naman, she has a very nice set. We brush her teeth three times a day and we don't let her eat candies or chocolates (eto minsan lang). Her sweet vice lang are knick knacks, stick o, and ice cream. After eating those, we brush her teeth talaga kagad.
