Hi! Newbie here.

I know this is old but nobody answered so here is my side of the coin...

You have a good but pretty tough question that I also asked myself long time ago. 

Time has changed & the typical Filipinas have changed, too. In my opinion, in this modern time of ours, there are lesser Maria Claras on earth & perhaps, it goes the same for those looking for a serious relationship.

An important thing to keep in mind if you want to find the quality ladies... Think of good places where good people can be found such as in the church, club/organization, etc.

The hangout place may not even be physical but virtual. With the advancements of technology, a lot of people are now just doing the social networking on the Internet. I realized that many good women are just at the comfort & security of their home or workplace. It'll be almost impossible to meet them by using the traditional methods. So utilize the Internet (i.e. dating sites, discussion boards, etc.).

Also, people don't usually flock together to classify themselves (i.e. those who are looking for serious relationships, etc.) so I believe the best way to find the right woman is by starting a good friendship with a potential good prospect. We'll never know unless we try.
