^ ay Oo.

My daughter uses my Olay toner, lotion and body scrubs. Kulang na lang mag-make up siya and sanitary pads.

one time muntik pa mapalo, kasi pag galing sa school. i think she's in KG2 that time, meron daw me crush sa kanya. narining ni brother ko, hayun, napagalitan. medyo maselan kasi brother ko kahit dun sa 2 boys nya.

Wow, nakakagulat mga stories nyo about your kid daughters. Maaga nga na gusto nilang magdalaga.

I have 2 grown up daughters, magkasunod lang age nila. I remember, they  passed that age where they played with make ups and high heels. Pero, it was just really a play for them because hindi naman sila lumalabas ng bahay with lipstick or gloss when they are in that age. In fact, mahiyain sila pareho and didn't even want to wear sleeveless or spaghetti strapped dress kahit sa JS Prom nila :).

I remember din na sa handbook ng school nila during elementary and high school, bawal mag lipstick or mag nail polish and mag color ng hair ( pati sa college- all girls school) .

I think it's because  of peer pressure din or  baka nakikita  nila sa classmates nila and they thought it's pretty so ginagaya nila.

It was already in her college year when my eldest daughter asked na magpapa rebond siya, so go lang ako at sinamahan ko pa.  Now, medyo maarte na sila  :)  . Pero ,pinagsasabihan din namin if we think they are wearing inappropriate attire ( ex. sobrang maigsing shorts) . I also call their attention whenever I hear them using kainis na gay speak and nakikinig naman sila. Hahha, medyo conservative lang .

Siguro, it's also because of too much exposure sa advertisement ng mga products na pampaganda, pampaputi etc. :) kaya ang mga bata ngayon mas "maarte".

Share ko lang :)

My eldest is already 13 years old. I remember when she was just the same age as your daughter, I think 8 or 9 years old, sobrang arte din. Dapat up to date siya with the latest trends, mapa kikay toys, clothes and shoes. Being a daddy's girl and first apo on my hubby's side, ayan spoiled tuloy.

Pero now that she's officially a teen, I can say na nagmellow na siya. Un tamang arte na lang ba for her age.

I guess for sis TS, your daughter is just going through a phase plus influence na din ng environment and media, guide and remind her na lang often. Another reason could be is the upcoming addition to your family. She sees the baby siguro as a threat.
Our bunso is just 16 months old. Imagine, my daughter got used for 12 years na she's the center of attention, then came along our son. Hubby and I prepared her, we tagged her along on my pre natal check ups, specially during ultrasound and fetal monitoring. We were worried kasi na baka dedmahin niya si baby pero we under estimated her. She was very excited when our son was born. In fact, kaya na niya mag alaga ngayon kay baby. I guess, it helped her become mature.

Hay naku sis, napahaba na storya ko. I hope things will turn out well when the baby comes out. Konting heart to heart talk lang kay dalaginding. I'm sure your kids will be fine. :)
